You know--we almost certainly won't be getting Goldeneye on the N64 Classic, but if this means we get Banjo and (maybe) Perfect Dark; I'd be ecstatic. Now, put Banjo in Smash and I'll flip my shit.

So this was the November Direct rumour? Microsoft and Nintendo getting into bed together and stealth dropping a hybrid Switchbox One X confirmed 100%?

If this is even remotely true, I don't know if I could go back to the N64 versions of Banjo and Perfect Dark :/

No mention of Microsoft on the TM & R part which means this is old stuff

If it's anything it will be the N64 Mini. Highly doubt they would be putting out anything more major.

It's Rare in specific that owns the games/IP. MS wholly owns Rare, yes, so in effect they also own Rare's properties, but no, lack of mention means nothing in this case as the trademarks are all filed directly by Rare itself. This is what you'd expect to see, unless it were a listing specifically for a new release that MS co-filed ownership of.

Not saying I think this page is in any way significant, mind you.

Damn, Nintendo must be going hard for the N64 Classic if we get Banjo on it. Hopefully Banjo-Tooie is also included.

So the touchy question that I'm afraid to ask... if we DO get Banjo and Jet Force Gemini and these other games in an N64 Mini, would there be any performance benefit to being on this newer hardware? Or are we still going to see hilarious frame drops like the originals?
