SEGA: Dreamcast Titles On Nintendo Switch One Step Closer To Reality

My first imported title! It was so awesome, even though I kinda hated the motion moves instead of just the freeze moves (I forget what they are called).
I'm all for the restoration/preservation of Dreamcast games by any means necessary. I still have my collection, but I would also be happy to get these in a more permanent fashion.
That would be awesome. There are a lot of classic Dreamcast games that could work there. Hell if they are bringing the games to Switch why not bring them to other platforms as well?

You are the first person I've ever seen that has brought up this game without anyone saying it first.
I loved this game so much, it was a blast to play. Both single player and online multiplayer were awesome...I loved the FPS Arcade genre from back then.
By lesser extent, Spawn: In Demon's Hands was also damn good. Similar to Outtrigger, sort of, but no FPS. Instead, something like 40 or so Spawn characters to rip people apart with.
Yeah, haha, I played the hell out of it when I was younger. I don't know how well it stands up today, but I'd still like to play it again.

I can't think of anything I'd get excited about other than Skies of Arcadia, and even that I'd prefer a remaster to emulation.
I keep hoping out for a skies of Arcadia HD port and it still hasn't happened. Well I got Jet Set Radio and Shenmue so SoA is the last one of the big Dreamcast games I wanted to play anyway.
Like a lot of other people I am more interested in Saturn too. I don't think I care about a Sonic Adventure re-release for the third time. Especially when only 1/3 of that game is good.

Not much Dreamcast that I would be interested in but there are tons of Saturn games I would love to have on Switch.
Can we finally get an edition of SA1 that actually looks/plays identical to the international dreamcast release for a wide audience aside from Steam via modding?
Seriously. If it's yet another port of a port of a port of a port of DX then it's already DoA, fuck DX so hard for ruining SA1's reputation.
Under the Dreamcast Conversion maybe, but default wise IMO they look ugly, overly glossy-ridden & rubbery AF while lacking aesthetic consistency with the rest of the game's NPCs that were left untouched.

Wow, I got butterflies reading that thread title. I just have far too many memories of the Dreamcast era. I'd have to say after all these years, even after God of War/PS4 Pro.....Dreamcast is still my favorite console.
The GCN ports of the old DC games are notably better, I wouldn't want SA2 over SA2B. I'm actually trying to think of a DC game I really want that never got some sort of enhanced version but nothing comes to mind.

Grandia 2 is already on its way in a collection of 1/2 this winter.
I would rather have ports than emulation. Pop in or lod are difficult to adjust through hacks usually, ports give more flexibility and add a round of code comments enrichment.
Platform-specific features would be better implemented that way as well... and it will give me things i could not get right here, right now through my PC, better value.

That's right I completely forgot about that. Scratch that one off the list.
Skies is a must for everyone. I hope they port the GCN version though. It's got a much better encounter rate and the extra content was nice. They could also improve the sound/textures with current specs while keeping the better models for GCN version. Might be tricky though.
Illbleed would be a fun, if unlikely port
