And now that CDPR/GOG decided to continue to be terrible and used the hashtag as a joke, the Allies have an opportunity to talk about it in an official capacity.
I don't think it's a good idea to tackle this one, but who knows if they surprise me again like they did with the crunch topic which I loved hearing them talk about (I didn't think that would be a good idea either).
I am not convinced it was done to do harm. It was a bad idea for sure, it looks really bad on them and I understand why people are upset (especially because of the last sentence), but I would they weren't as stupid to laugh with a whole community. To be clear, I hope this bs Trump is trying to pull doesn't go through as it doesn't make any sense.
But it's a company from outside the US and if I hadn't seen some tweets from the EZA community I wouldn't even know what this hashtag means (I can check the paper today to see if it is mentioned or not, but it wasn't in there yesterday (but the news possibly dropped to late for them to print)).
I honestly think it was meant as a jokey thing (and it was a stupid thing to do by them). I am not trying to defend CDPR as I don't understand why anyone would tweet something like that, but that still doesn't mean they were trying to hurt people (I suspect they did anyway, which of course sucks).
