I mean, Avengers 4 might be the most secretive movie of all time.
Either way, they're not going to say a word.

I hope there just being secretive. I know I'm in the minority but I liked his Peitro and would love to see him back.

This is the dumbest article I've ever read in regards to anything Marvel. Ever.
Thanos using the Power stone early on in Infinity War is a brilliant double entendre, triple chocolate Easter egg that's been hidden underneath our cocaine covered noses all this time! Think about it. Power Stone... Early on? What else is early on? BEING A KID. And the power stone getting first introduction of all stones in a movie about infinity stones is no coinkidink, ether! Come to think of it, what's the first 3D platform fighter to ever crawl its way into our meager existence?! If you had guessed Capcpom's "Power Stone" well then you would be a winner winner loki dinner! So where does that leave us? Find out more after the jump!

Thanks for jumping! Power Stone x Rival Schools coming this December to coincide with the release of Avengers:End Game!
Thanks for reading.

So Eventhubs, am I hired?
I still think the punchline will be reality Earth 2 jump. I can't see how they are going to retcon X-Men and mutantkind in without resorting to it. I am not saying it's the best or my preferred answer, but I can't see how they square it with all the Marvel properties with the Fox acquisition. Now with the acquisition being done by the end of this year, the one thing I am willing to bet on is the post credit scene for A4 will either have deadpool cameo or a strong hint of the X-men.

It ain't gonna happen. Even if they are sure the fox sale will be final before the movie is out they legally have to act like nothing is going on. Run it just like there's no sale. So they can't film fox stuff
They could certainly allude to it, though. Have Strange mention that "The repaired universe came back different" or something like that. They can tease it without casting anyone or directly referencing any Fox characters that way.

Oh boy, would I take that bet against you. Easiest money of my life.

There's a million legal reasons they can't do this as explained by other posters, but I wouldn't be surprised to see a major universe-altering event with many unseen effects that open up the opportunity for them to write certain things out of existence (for instance, here is an opportunity to provide an 'official' reason for rebooting/recasting Luke Cage/Iron Fist/etc without having to outright acknowledge the existing shows) or write certain things in. They don't have to say "hey, here's the X-Men!" in this movie, they just have to have the ending of this movie state that the universe has changed as a result of Thanos' actions and undoing them. This can then become a catch-all excuse for whatever they want to do.
A good example is, say, on TV, Doctor Who has done this loads - when a show runs for 55 years, occasionally you have to wipe the slate clean. So even recently, they had a 'crack in time' caused by a major plot device that deleted past events, allowing them to retcon shit out they no longer wanted. Actually explaining what has changed (like the emergence of mutants) doesn't need to happen in this movie. And it won't, because of all the legal hoops currently being jumped through.
Oh man, if they somehow go straight from Thanos and the Infinity Gauntlet and lead things straight into Skrulls, Thunderbolt, and H.A.M.M.E.R as the plot threads of the second era, I would be seriously hyped. I need that Iron Patriot on the big screen.

I'm surprised they would go for physical suit instead of just all CGI like they have been doing since Iron Man 2. Unless the suit is of semething else. Thor and Rocket have sort of futuristic suits on the toy leak.

I was talking less about the armor, more about the character. Spiderman is inevitably going to do Green Goblin and Norman Osborn, so I can see them gunning for the Dark Avengers along the way. They pretty much already did the Patriot armor in Iron Man 2, though.
Ah, so even if the acquisition happens before, legally they can't. I understand.
To the main point, yeah - I can definitely see the unforeseen repercussions of Thanos's actions, or the Avengers' solution in A4, being the reason retcons and reality warping happens. And it's the least messy approach to unify them all and recast some characters.
I think the need to rush into this is overstated, they want Marvel to be a long, long lasting franchise and there's plenty on the plate to be getting on with. I would think it's more likely you'll get a(nother) reality warping event in 6 years or so which could involve X-Men and maybe bring in a few alternate universe version of dead Avengers.
At this point, presumably the same day they launch the teaser trailer. I'm sure the choreography of Avengers 4 promo versus Captain Marvel promo has been very carefully considered, too (for example I wouldn't expect Carol Danvers to show up in any but the final Avengers 4 trailer).
