Nice! Love the brake calipers, man! Are those stock or did you paint 'em yourself?
Thanks man! Appreciate it haha.
They actually came stock in red with the package I chose, the raised centercaps aren't stock, although they are Mercedes OM parts lol

Like you tho, I'm tempted to put my university sticker on the rear window. It's pretry slim, but I have always been hesitant to add a sticker so far lol

It depends on the sticker and on the car. On older cars, I'm not really judgmental because the car is old anyway, so have fun with it. Every so often I'll see a sticker that I find amusing or interesting. It's not my car, so why should I care? On brand new cars, there are fewer stickers that don't look out of place though.

I had a sticker of the AG-SYS logo on my old Civic before it got totaled. I didn't regret the sticker at all. Most people didn't know what it was, and I thought it had a nice design. On my new Impreza, I'm not putting anything on it for a long while.

I get the most tired of seeing religious stickers and Harry Potter stickers though. I feel like if you're going to have a sticker, it's nice when it's a subtle nod that only a few people will pick up on.

I've got a NIN sticker on mine, and that's it. Makes it easy to find my car.

I have no problems with people's stickers, save when they're antagonistic. I just don't see the point of being aggressive towards literally anyone who might look at your car.

I have a custom Darwin fish and Mario 1up mushroom sticker a friend made for me on the back windshield of my 06 Tiburon on both lower corners of the glass. Though I put them there 10 years ago, no regerts. They match the color of the car nicely.

As with tattoos, I think they're neat if there's thought put into placement/size/level of detail/etc. I prefer the minimalist ones, and especially the ones that are made to look like they're interacting with the vehicle in some manner. Less of a "pay attention to me!" kind of thing and more of a "you only catch it if you're paying attention" kind of thing.

As an so-called 'outdoor type' (I hike, bike, camp, etc.) with a Subaru Outback and a Loadwarrior on top of that (with bike racks) of course I have a few stickers. That said all of them are white & black, and pretty small. My favorite (which has been on my 3 last vehicles) is the Backcountry Goat (not my picture, but same sticker).

Also this sticker has been on my last few vehicles too (the top sticker)

My wife has a Cooper S and jokes all the time that she should put cat ears and eyelashes on it. Thankfully she's just joking and doesn't like a bunch of shit on her car either.

Coincidentally, there is a Fiat a block down with eyelashes on it for the last year or so. *shudder*

I really only drive a car because I kinda have to for work (no trains), but I consider it a necessary evil. My car is as vanilla as the day I bought it.

Besides the premium striping decals that came with the car, I think all forms of stickers, advertisements and personal affectations on vehicles are tacky.

Nothing screams "immature", "compensate" and "hick" more than car decals of any kind. The most common abominations here are the Nordschleife silhouette, "Bitte ein Bit" (beer slogan) and Sylt (overpriced holiday island in the north sea) stickers.

Or, on the soccer mom vans, "<<Stupid name Kid1>> and <<Stupid Name Kid2>> on board". As if that would keep anybody from crashing into them.

I don't like stickers, but I'll slap a political candidate magnet on my car during an election year. Or my favorite sports team's magnet during the season/playoffs.

I've got Aperture Science logos (no text) on our cars. My wife's car is blue and mine is orange.

I've had some small ones on my cars in the past, usually referring to parts or tuning that I have used, but never anything significant. There is something about an ultra clean car devoid of distractions... :) Current example below...

I think my personal bugbear are the family decals in their infinite permutations (Star Wars! Superheroes!)

You can argue that any declarative message about yourself or your interests on your car is unnecessary or tacky, but I think "let me tell you the composition of my family including pets" just comes off as too much knowledge.

I forgive parents for having "my kid is an honor student"-type bumper stickers because when I was a kid I really wanted that, now I'd feel like an asshole. But if you're plastering your car with that stuff makes me think it's not about the kid but about you.

Its sad to see those family decals where the mom or dad are taken out.

I don't have a problem with them, but I would never do that to one of my own vehicles. It takes away from the overall aesthetic of a nice car I think. Same with laptops.

Don't really care for decals. Around my parts, it's those running distance and Salt Life decals every where, with the odd stick figure family. Then you have the people that combat the trend with 0.0, Assault Life, and stick figure families being eaten, ran over, etc.

I have a small Nashville Predators logo on my back window of my truck. It's faded and needs to be removed.

I don't like them, but fine for other people. There was a local brewery that I used to have a sticker for when they first opened to help spread the word, but when I got a new car I didn't bother.

I begrudgingly have a 'BAby on Board' window tag thing stuck to the inside back corner. I have it because my wife read that emergency personel will respond differently with it, as we just had a baby. THing is you're supposed to take it off when the baby is not in the car, but that's a major pain in the ass... so I'm probably defeating the whole purpose of it.

What's up with the round circle bumper stickers with black background with three letters in white font?

Always thought it was airport abbreviation lol

I think less is more in this situation (less being none). If you go crazy it looks like your car crashed into an AutoZone shop.

It's fine. Don't overdo it.

Recently saw a car with goku and vegeta fist bump sticker @ lower back of the car. I dug it.

Mine says, "I'm better than you." I hope some people have taken it to heart and cried later that day.
