SOUL CALIBER

Really? That's crazy. You in the UK?
I been in lobbies all weekend.
I wonder how much is it releasing around RDR? I think games should be spread out through the year to avoid cannibalizing each other
I'm in Brazil. The market here is greatly shifted towards PS4, so I think the disparity is even bigger than in the UK actually.
From the starlink thread
Pretty sure the news was that both are bombs. How is the same split "monumental" for one bomb but "irrelevant" for another bomb?
Makes you think.

I was going to buy this day one but then they ruined it with the DLC scheme. You're going to nickle and dime gamers for their money and cut out content at launch? Then fuck you, you get nothing.
How so? Products from different makers can take sales from each other. Few people have an unlimited entertainment budgetthis would only make sense if namco bandai were the publisher of rdr2.

Didn't even know it was releasing. Why you'd release a week after CoD and a week before Red Dead Redemption 2 I don't know, just setting yourself up to fail.
Lol can't tell what's sarcasm anymore
Thisisera.gifThat's a weird title change considering we have another thread talking about platform splits for another game.
They were foolish then, quality is irrelevant when sandwiched between those two.Because the game was probably ready and they're confident in their product. I'm getting tired these posts. Huge games are coming every holiday. Why can't another game in a completely different genre can do okay in the holiday season?

lmaoThe game is underperforming but it sold more on my console FUCK YEAH!
Good "Us vs Them" mentalityMost of this thread is just sour Nintendo fans who last played SC when Link was in it. At some point this topic will slowly turn into "should of been on switch" If you read PAL threads you will see these same posters claiming starlink and DS remaster did well.
Edit: looks like it has turned into " should of been on switch" .

You can also ask mods to change the other thread's title you know?
This with PS4 having huge, end-of-gen install base numbers too. It's still very, very low numbers, half of the previous release.
That's not what I'm asking for, just a weird decision. You can also ask mods to change the other thread's title you know?
This wouldve never happen if they included Yun or Hwang ; )
Seriously its the main reason i'm not getting the game, I simply refuse to support any fighter where the available roster doesn't interest me while excluding characters that i main, I passed on SCV for the same reason and I'm doing the same for SCVI until at least one of the korean guys is available as DLC otherwise i'll completely skip the game altogether.
Digital won't make up for such a huge decline.wouldn't this low% of retail make sense with all the data we saw about digital growing bigger?

That's kind of a problem for fighters. If you bring back everyone from the old games the roster will end up being gigantic and people will complain about "bloat" and the game being too intimidating to learn (see: Tekken Tag 2). If you cut the roster, people will complain their main got removed and won't buy the game. They can't win.
