Like a lot of people, I immediately ignored Nintendo's newsletter for this month as soon as it arrived at my email inbox. However there was a very interesting thing on it: your custom Switch stats.

You can see how much hours you have played in the last 90 days, your most played game this year and the percentile of "top game hours" against other players.

Share your stats!

Interesting.

What's kinda weird is I don't think this is very accurate. I haven't played Octopath since July or so and have put far more hours into Monster Hunter Generations, and more recently. I only have about 50 hours on Octopath and over 190 in Mh.

Lol! Yeah probably just counting that top game played. Maybe.

Mine should really say Monster Hunter and would make more sense to be 82% for it. I wonder if that game is even compatible with where these numbers are coming from on their end. Curious if mh generations is listed as anyones top game.

95 hours over the past 90 days

93% percentile of top game hours against other players.... whatever that means.

Probably not. All three platform holders are collecting this type of data and it's not something you can really opt out of.

Played my PS4 and 3DS more last 90 days I guess. Only 40 hours for me and Stardew as top game. Seems it just missed the 25+ I spent In Octopath

Time fucking flies in Picross. I was having a nervous breakdown earlier this year and did like 50 hours on various DS Picross games as it was the only thing that stopped my aniexty.

This mail seems like it's only being sent to NA accounts.

Only European accounts can opt out of sharing data here https://accounts.nintendo.com/setting

All hail our king Fortnite! Switch has been completely dead this year for me. Fortnite is, literally, the only reason I turn it on. Cities Skylines and Undertale helped a little bit.

I made the huge mistake of getting Attack on Titan 2 on Switch cuz it was portable... lmao I should've got it on PS4. It doesn't really look good on Switch...at all.
