My daughter's iPod had a shake to shuffle feature.

If you have 3D Touch and press and hold the left edge of the screen you can scroll through Apps.
I don't why there was such a clamour to add this feature back. It's faster to tap the home button twice to scroll through apps.
That's part of their strategic business plan.

Now THIS is a game-changer. Thanks for making me aware of this.
I still use shake to undo, but it feels like such a holdover from the days of "Look, your phone has an accelerometer!" Just give me an Undo button somewhere.

if you are on a news site you can activate the reading mode turning off banners and ads, so you can easily read the text. you can turn it on, tapping on the icon on the left side of the browser bar.

Shake was a video compositing software suit from the late 90's that Apple bought in the early 2000's (Think Adobe After Effect). It was node based, so you connected visual nodes with lines to perform compositing actions.
To undo a node connection, you grabbed the node connection with a mouse, and you would shake it with the mouse and it would undo the connection.
I'm not 100% sure, but i'm relatively sure this is why that feature exists in iOS.
