Natalia is coming on way too strong when she doesn't need to. If she survives, it's solely because Alec is worried about Carl giving the former Davids a majority.

I'm so confused on what the original "plan" was. Kara and Natalia voted differently?
I'm kind of assuming Kara/Elizabeth/Alec were voting Davie but Natalia wanted Elizabeth out?

I honestly give player of the week to Davie he got close to Alec and saved himself without using an Idol.
I wonder if Bi quitting moved up the tribe swap. They were at a ready made comp made for two tribes and with Bi it would have left two extra people. Wonder if they got word she was quitting and just bumped up the swap?
Had to be a planned split vote, where they also were confident either Davie and/or Elizabeth would vote for the other.
I was panicking because I had Davie and Elizabeth. But only slightly, because it really didn't feel like either were going home, but at the same time either of them could have gone.
Once he announced Carl would be coming on the losing tribe, I thought no one would be stupid enough to not vote out a David.
Wow, who knew Natalia was such an asshole. Booting her might be self-defeating for the Goliaths on that tribe but it really makes you wonder just how much of a pain she was to be around.
Also, it was sweet to see Gabby victorious after having such a rough post-merge moment. Great ep overall.

Indeed he should have! Had him benched so didn't even bother checking the newsfeed. Will pass this along to the people who run the site and update here if/when they get back to me about a change.

Just watched the episode. I was happy to see Gabby elated after he victory. She needed that.
Plus she is on my team and I want her to stay.

Those two nerds are the cutest. Love the black dude winking to the other black dude lol. Minorities got to stick together in Survivor, and I swear there are more black people in this season than ever before.

When taken as a pair, Christian and Gabby might be two of the most likable cast members on Survivor in years. Each of them are fine on their own, but as a pair you can't help but root for them. I'll be crushed when one of them gets booted (which I don't think will take too long, they've both proven quite capable in challenges, especially mental).
The rapid intimacy that developed between them is fascinating. I love their conversations but feel like I'm spying, in a way that I usually don't when watching the show.

"Nope. That swap was already set for that episode. In fact, I actually removed one buff from the tray, in front of the Survivors, just before we did the swap. Due to time, we cut that from the show, but it did change how we executed the swap. We had a slightly different plan in place — always trying to catch them off guard — that we'll save for another season. But to the essence of your question, it is conceivable that a sudden quit could impact what we had planned, and in that case we would modify and adapt to fit the situation."
Finally caught up on this season. Pretty good overall. This last episode could have used some more time but otherwise the editing has been spot on given the amount of time they had.

Just looked at the fantasy league. I've already lost four players and had Jeremy in this week even though he was out since I hadn't watched the episode yet. Not that that would have helped give me more than a few points. Whoops.
Really? I'm much happier getting to know these people. I usually tune out the challenges. My wife said the same thing last night.

yeah, I will admit I almost quit watching after being here from Borneo Episode I on the night it premiered on TV.
but then i saw Probst tweeting about how bad the conditions were, and I was like, well, an episode or two can't hurt.
Tremendous cast this year so far. If every Survivor had a cast this good it'd be great.

Yeah, I'm finding this season a lot better than the last few so far. Of course, it's still early.
I think the thing that helps DvG's future prospects is that the characters are very strong.
