Again, AAA alpha build games can be very rough and demo builds especially are not indicative of what the state of the final build is at that point in time. You can be confident in assuming they spend extra time on those demo builds to make sure you don't a) tap into any content that is not ready to be public b) activate any build-breaking bugs that are known by the devs but not fixed yet. They had over 8 months to polish the game when it was already in alpha, these two months are not the reason especially when they had a demo that was available to the public plenty of times now and was polished and a huge improvement since the game informer previews.
Eh? It was announced in 2016.I remember the 2014 announce trailer. I hope Sony cancels it already
Uh no, March wouldn't work due to it having Devil May Cry and a bunch of other games. They could have selected either March 1st or the 29th for an empty date, even April 5th, 12th, 19th. But they didn't because the devs just need a little more time, and thats fine. There's no rush. But don't fool yourself in thinking its only moved because of a crowded February, its a convenient situation if anything.
Yeah... let's cancel an almost 100% finished, great game. Makes totally sense. Looks like an ordinary Days Gone thread again.I remember the 2014 announce trailer. I hope Sony cancels it already
I think Crackdown may come earlier.
Thats fine but my point still stands. You don't delay a game by almost 2 months (and not to mention into the next fiscal year) unless something is very wrong.Uh no, March wouldn't work due to it having Devil May Cry and a bunch of other games.
If they were going to delay it for a clear month then it would be best to have it come in an empty time period.
They gave a reason... games been playable since e3 . How about maybe just this once we take their reasoning and stop trying to force some theoryThats fine but my point still stands. No one is forcing any theory on anyone, there is nothing wrong with speculating on the situation considering Days Gone has a history of delays in the first place. They gave a reason... games been playable since e3 . Can you elaborate? Are you saying that first party video game releases only make a small dent in the fiscal figures?Fiscal year has nothing to do with it. WWS Game sales are included in PlayStation's overall income , which is massive anyway.
So you want toxicity back? Well then, no one is preventing you from shouting about how angry you are, just remember Sony's output before doing that.I miss the days when game delays were met with anger and frustration...now it's just "well done" and "good for you"
:/
It was delayed two times. It's been announced for two years. We're you saying that about rdr2No one is forcing any theory on anyone, there is nothing wrong with speculating on the situation considering Days Gone has a history of delays in the first place.

RDR2 has a history of delays yes, we all know Rockstar loves to throw delays out left right and centre and considering RDR2 was delayed from Spring to late October you can bet that game was not even nearly ready for release. It was delayed two times. It's been announced for two years. We're you saying that about rdr2
What even is this forum anymoreI don't own a PlayStation so I'm not really familiar with the output.
But this delay is probably the worst thing that can happen to PlayStation right now, I imagine. Huge black eye and kind of disrespectful to fans, I'm sure.

Oh please, this is ridiculous, on one hand people talk about how they hate crunch and on another there are posts like this.I don't own a PlayStation so I'm not really familiar with the output.

Good call.
Another sign that points for a fall 2020 PS5 release
