Offered McCaffrey straight for David Johnson. PPR league. Backs are DJ, Tevin, Cohen, Lindsay

That's tough. I think I'd keep DJ though. He has an insanely easy ROS schedule. I think McCaffrey's best days are behind him unless Greg Olsen gets injured again.(lowers his pass catching volume)

DJ has multiple TD upside every week. A McCaffrey TD will be rare. If Mike McCoy starts using DJ a little bit more creatively I could see you really regretting that trade, but that's certainly not a given I guess.

McCaffrey comes with the safer floor if nothing changes with DJ's usage, but I wouldn't shoot for the floor with my RB1 when you're going to be facing off against teams with Gurley, Barkley, Gordon, etc in the playoffs. It's hard to envision a scenario in which you win your league with McCaffrey as your RB1 imo.

That's what I am leaning on.

I need to address my RB2 situation.

I have DJ, Tevin, Cohen, and Lindsay
WR: Jeffrey, Tyreek, Diggs, and Gordon

Do you guys have a package deal for McCaffrey that makes sense? I'm not big on either Coleman or Cohen.

I would rather have CmC over DJ in full PPR. Even with Olsen back, he got targeted 14 times over the last 2 games. The volume is there, and while DJ has a better shot at a TD, the offense limits his upside.

Trade Thomas imo. Probably won't be a popular answer but I expect Brees and Thomas to take a step back with Ingram in the mix again.(similar to last year) They're going to be a RB focused team going forward while the Vikings and Texans are the complete opposite.

If you can get a mid-tier RB1 or even a low-end RB1 considering how stacked you are at WR I'd do it in a heartbeat

Good call. I've got a guy who is willing to trade me Mixon (and Bernard) for Thielen but Thielen has been so good, I'm hesitant to pull the trigger. Do you think Thomas for Mixon is a good counter?

Yeah Thomas for Mixon is a very fair trade. The Thielen trade is pretty solid as well, but I would avoid trading him if possible.

Lmao not even sure how I pulled this off. This league isn't filled with tacos either.

Also just traded Tarik + Olsen for Robert Woods.

I have an offer of Gronk + Crabtree for Evans. Debating if I should take it or not..

I've been offered Tyreek Hill and Phillip Lindsay for Le'Veon Bell and Amari Cooper.

My current RB's: Le'Veon Bell, Wendell Smallwood, Bilal Powell, Austin Ekeler, Frank Gore, Lamar Miller
My current WR's: Davante Adams, Keenan Allen, Josh Gordon, Amari Cooper

What are people's thoughts for what will happen when Bell gets back? Split carries with Conner? Even if he was splitting carries, he should still easily be my best RB. If I took the trade, I would probably start trying to shop Josh Gordon around to see i I can get another mid-tier running back.

Looking for advice. If I'm going to trade Le'Veon should I be looking for a better RB to replace him, or is Tyreek enough of a weapon to make this trade viable?

EDIT: And before anybody says it, I'm already aware of how badly I fucked up by not drafting Conner to handcuff Bell.

This is very good value for Bell, but at the same time you'll be in trouble at RB. Sincerely, I would take this deal and then try to go out and get an upgrade at RB. You'll be in a very good position to make all different kinds of deals.

Do the deal and then trade Hill for a RB

That's an amazing offer and your RB situation looks really bad. There is no guarantee Bell will even come back and if he will even play to his full potential. If you truly believe he will, then just hold him cause your WRs are fine. I think Lindsay would be a decent fill in for you. I would run with a core of Davante + Tyreek and trade as many of those pieces like Keenan/Gordon and meh RBs in some kind of package for some decent RBs. Maybe take a gamble on a player like Fournette or go for something more solid like Breida/Hyde/Cook. You have to look at other players and see what their needs are. Players are more likely to trade someone on their bench or on bye so try and see if one of your leaguemates have something viable there. You can also look at downgrading an "elite" position to pretty good and upgrading a different spot where you are really lacking (your RBs)

i.e - mahomes + wr2 for something like Winston + WR1. Just an example.

Thanks guys, I've accepted the trade. Now I'm shopping around for RB's. Alex Collins and Adrian Peterson are both sitting on people's benches so I might look to those.

I would avoid those 2 tbh.

edit: you got capital, you can go for a starter or higher profile player.

Pick 2:

LeSean McCoy,
Phillip Lindsay,
Tarik Cohen,
Kerryon Johnson,
Taylor Gabriel

I'm thinking McCoy and Cohen. Cohen has been used a lot in passing for Bears, and think against NE they may be needing to pass a lot. McCoy seems to be guarenteed 10 points, just not sure if his ceiling is as high as Lindsay or Kerryon. Gabriel may also get lot of targets but he may be 'wait another week' to see his usage.

Thoughts?

  • Barkley, Cook, Yeldon, Ekeler, and Morris.
  • Thielen, Adams, JuJu, C. Davis, Calloway, Westbrook.
League starts 3/3 and a flex.

Considering offering a WR for Hunt or Mixon.

My best case scenario right now is Cook returns to form as RB1 and Fournette stays dead so that Yeldon remains a legit RB2. Worst case is the opposite and I'm down two backs... obviously a big concern.
With above roster (too lazy to retype)... JuJu and maybe some toss in for Ingram? 0.4 PPR. Other guy's best WR is Amari Cooper or John Brown so...

OK I need some advice on who to start this week in my rb and wr slots. This is my team:

Rbs: Alvin Kamara, LeSean McCoy, Tevin Coleman, Jordan Howard, Leonard Fournette and Phillip Lindsay
WRs: Alshon Jeffery, Kenny Golladay, Stefon Diggs, Brandin Cooks, Golden Tate

Right now i have Kamara and McCoy starting and Alshon, Golladay and Diggs. I kinda think I should sit Diggs for either Coleman or Tate

Any suggestions?

Good times.

2 WR, 2 RB, 1 FLEX, 0.5 PPR

Right now I have in those slots:
Alshon Jeffery
Julian Edelman
Sony Michel
Phillip Lindsay
John Brown

Sitting on my bench are Taylor Gabriel, Ito Smith (thanks to Freeman hitting IR), Dalvin Cook, and Chris Thompson...is there any reason for any of these guys to be slotted into my starting lineup? I feel like Cook needs another week to get back to RB1 or 2 status. I also figured Lindsay and Brown should start because they both have some juicy matchups.

Need to pick two receivers from these guys to play in my WR2 and Flex

Alshon Jeffery, Tyler Boyd, Brandin Cooks, Julian Edelman.

Thoughts? Right now I have Boyd and Cooks in.

Shady and since Riddick might miss the game, Kerryon should be a safe start.

God it sucks having 6 people on bye.

Should not have stocked up on Seattle, Green Bay and Pitt players.

Chris Godwin or Royce Freeman as my flex?

Freeman has a higher ceiling but his output has sucked lately, whereas Godwin has only really had 1 bad game

Jeffery and Tate seem like the obvious WR starts. Flex Cooks or Diggs

Bench Tate for sure. Toughest matchup. He'll be seeing the #2 rated slot corner this year on most of his snaps. Diggs had a down week last week because he was shadowed by Patrick Peterson but he's a must play most weeks. Jeffrey is in that territory too rn until proven otherwise. Cooks will see an uptick in his usage with Kupp out. You definitely want him in your lineup

Really hate Thursday night games.

Demaryius Thomas worth starting tonight over any of the three:
John Brown
Calvin Ridley
Josh Gordon
?

I really wouldn't feel great about playing Howard rn but I still think you have to play him over Smith this week

Yeah that's what I'm worried about. It feels like any game featuring the Patriots is going to result in a shoot-out with Cohen getting more work than Howard.

With Freeman gone and the Falcons playing the Giants, I really feel like playing Smith.

Goddamn this choice lmao.

Sheesh.. no stat corrections! My wife won her game last week 143.18 to 143.12. That is ridiculous.

I'm not as good at this as some of the others here, but John Brown is going up against an atrocious Saints pass defense. In your position I'd play him over the other three, but others here might disagree

Go with Lindsay tonight in Standard. Brown in PPR. Flip a coin if it's Half PPR... just bear in mind that you might have to live with staring at a huge number on your bench over the next few days if you sit Lindsay. The Cards run D is positively putrid.

I traded for DJ this morning and figured our commish could push it through before the game tonight but he is MIA so I guess I am not getting him until next week. Annoying.

With the 4 early scores for the Broncos (none of them rushing), I could actually see the big guys getting rested in the 2nd half and them leaning on Booker. Unfortunate situational set of circumstances for Denver's run game given the cake matchup.

They'll need Arizona's offense to finally get into gear against the Broncos D (that has been on the field a LOT tonight) and hope they stop throwing Pick 6s.

Emma Sanders and the Broncos D/ST unit both putting up monster points tonight.

Funny thing is I was having that same Lindsay vs John Brown debate for my flex spot this week since Davante Adams is on a bye and I switched Lindsay out for Brown like 2 hours before the game.

Edit: Aaaaand Lindsay scores lol

That was ugly. Anyone see what happened to Sanders? I wasn't watching the game very carefully at that point.

Couldn't decide between Denver D or Indy D this week.. I chose poorly.
