Thought it was interesting that construction has finally begun at Universal Hollywood Studios in California. I don't believe anything has officially started on the Orlando Florida side of things. But, I believe from rumors and such, that Super Nintendo World will likely be built at the 3rd planned theme park there.

Really excited to see these finally get built.

If they have warp pipes, they need to lead to somewhere.

If they have warping warp pipes with like underground rooms I will have to visit

Somewhere.
Oh, it is going to be in California too? Will that definitely will be something to convince me to go there again sometime!

Any Mario Kart related attraction is going be a mega hit.

I know go karting exists, but I imagine that it would be something more on rails.

That's not a lot of space. I've been watching Disneyland's Star Wars Land being built and this looks like a 1/4 of it. Are we expecting 2 E ticket rides or just a bunch of lazy motion Sims and projections that Universal seems focused on as of late?

Mario, DK, Zelda and Pokemon will come first, I'm sure, but I'm hoping Splatoon and Metroid get something after that.

I thought Nintendo World was going to just be an expansion of Universal Studios proper. It seems like a bit much to devote an entire park to Nintendo IP.

Orlando and Tokyo are the ones to be paying more attention to.
Yea, and Orlando hasn't even started anything since they're still deciding whether to incorporate it at one of the current parks or add it or their supposed third park.

And Osaka is already wayyyy ahead of everybody. Can't wait to see it in 2020!

it was gonna be a part, but it seemed plans changed to accommodate a much bigger plot of land. and it wasn't just going to be Nintendo but other stuff like Warcraft

That's right, Orlando will probably the biggest, but will take the longest to build. Osaka should be ready before the next Olympics, though. Exciting!

Construction was supposed to begin a while ago but they changed their plans and are wondering to make it a bigger part of their rumored 3rd park instead of just adding it to Universal Studios Orlando.

I was going to go back to Japan to see the one in Osaka when it opened, but maybe I should just wait for the one to be built that's an hour away from me.

Anyone know if the DK attraction is rumored to come to Hollywood, or is it just Mario?

Anyways, it's expected this one would start sooner, but still disappointing how much longer it will take to come to Orlando. I'll probably just end up making Hollywood my first visit.

Holy crap, I thought Hollywood was going to be getting it last? This is awesome, I'll buy a season pass as soon as it opens.

I haven't kept up with rumors for half a year now, but from what I remember the rumors were...

-- Mario Kart dark ride: Uses practical effects and limited interactivity
-- Yoshi omnimover
-- DK Mine cart Coaster (not in Japan, possibly Orlando exclusive)

On top of that there's been rumors of Zelda replacing Lost Continent.

Most of the speculation seems to be Mario/Zelda/Pokemon for IPs that are being talked about.

I recently saw a video of those projections and felt sad. Sorry to whoever worked hard on that, but it just doesn't compare to practical effects
