-Pick the game up at 9pm @ Best Buy on Thurs.
-Stop at the Taco Bell across the street and get a Crunchwrap Supreme and a Chicken Quesadilla
-Play until I pass out
-Wake up and browse ERA in bed until I'm functional
-Play all day since I took the day off

Gonna pick it up that Friday, install it on the console, go to my hometown to watch my young brothers varsity football game.
Saturday off to flordia on vacation. So really I wont start the game until Sunday the 4th when we get back or that Monday the 5th after work.

Same here, though I will say that I have no opposition to Rockstar as a company and don't really feel that their labor practices are all that different from the rest of the industry, I just don't really care about AAA games anymore.
GF bought the digital version for me. Preload the game, play at midnight with the headphones on in my man cave on my OLED. Cannot wait!
I got the day off. Gonna get up in the morning and buy the game. Look how long the updates and install will take. Do some other stuff or sleep while waiting then let's gooooo

Cancelled my Amazon pre-order when it sounds like GameStop is going 9pm as well (they said call on Weds for confirmation).

Night before launch think I'll watch a few westerns to get me in the mood, haven't decided which ones yet but definitely gonna throw a Clint one in there somewhere :P
Probably wake up early due to being anxious like a cracked out kid getting up for unwrapping presents on Xmas...cue me falling asleep on the couch from lack of sleep for a couple hours off and on as I browse the review thread and others on reset and GTAF as part of the hype train.
I plan on shutting my phone off close to the time my digital pre-order unlocks, no distractions, just pure uninterrupted gameplay bliss ;)

Unfortunately I have work commitments so will have to wait till the evening. Even then I'll have to wait till my daughter goes to sleep :(

Local GameStop has a 9pm launch. Going with a friend and girlfriend. Thursday, Friday, and Saturday are my days off from work so I'm just gonna play that night.

Depends on what time I work Friday. If I work Friday morning I'll pick it up after work that day. If I work Friday night, I'll grab it at the midnight launch. Might try getting one of my shifts covered that weekend honestly.

I still don't know... I don't have any things to do, but still don't know when I'll get the game. Well, hope to get it few days before release.
Mine is selling it at 9. If you want to get it that night, you have to preorder and go to the store to get some kind of pass between 3 and 9 PM that day.
Weird, but that's how mine's doing it. I'll stop by the store on my way home around 6 that night and then double back at 9. It's the same store I picked up GTA V from 5 years ago...feels like yesterday.
I only played about 15% of the first game so I'm probably just going to play that on the X. No need to buy the new one yet. I'm not sure why but I struggle to stick with this game. I have the same problem with GTA5. I start it up with the intention of making progress, end up spending an hour just shooting people and riding/driving around the map, then cut it off and not play it again for a month.
Work, or more like being in a plane flying back to Europe from HQ in the USA.

My release day plan is to be jealous of all the people playing it. My copy doesn't have release day shipping (thanks, Amazon!) so I'm stuck waiting. On the plus side, I will most likely still be wrapping up AC Odyssey, so this gives me a little more time to complete it.
