I just got back home after eating this big boy at my favorite restaurant:
img_20181018_20351344dqg.jpg

That's 600g(~1.32 lb) of poultry meat in the form of a Schnitzel.

Can you top that?

*cue that old Gaf meme pic*

OT, meals around the holidays usually are the heaviest for me.

Friend of mine used to be into competitive eating and would polish off entire pizzas in one sitting, massive burrito challenges at restaurants, etc. Not a big guy either. I remember he once did something called a doughnut dash where he had to run a mile, stop and eat a dozen doughnuts and then run another mile. I don't remember if he won though.

Brazilian Steakhouse (Fogo de Chao in Atlanta). So... maybe three pigs and half a cow.
However much it was, it was an astounding amount, even by my own standards.
I was basically comatose for about 36 hours afterwards.

When I really let myself go, probably a Brooklyn XL Dominos pizza + 8 wings + their lava cakes when they had it (dont know if they still do) = ~4000 calories.

Aside from that probably holidays, but that is so cliche.

When I was in 9th grade I came home from school and cooked a Stouffer's Party Size Macaroni and Cheese and ate the entire thing. I've since tried it again several times but can only get halfway now.

Cod and chips one time. There was no large cod so I was instead given three 'medium' sized (still pretty big) pieces of cod - with a mountain of chips. It tasted amazing but I just couldn't eat it all. And large Pizza i'll often eat myself.

The best I got is a massive 3lbs shawarma combo that the spot next to my old internet cafe used to have for like a maybe a ten.

Oh my god. Dad of a friend of mine once invited me and three other friends of that dude to the one in Midtown. When he told the waiter that we didn't want to hit the buffet before starting with the meat I immediately knew this was going to be five guys trying to out eat each other with filet mignon and all sorts of fancy meats. Seriously, I was was full after trying everything once and that was only the start. Almost joined the vomit on the subway crowd on the ride home.

Yeah this was me.

I'd wake up, order food at lunch, and I'd eat a whole God damn large pizza plus a decent amount of wings alongside some cheese bread and even some desert if I ordered any. While I wouldn't finish all of the desert it was still ridiculous.

I miss eating all this unhealthy shit, but at the same time I've gotten so much happier with myself since i got fit. Don't think I could go back to that.

Hell I can't even enjoy pizza anymore due to developing lactose intolerance a few months ago.

Probably chinese buffet as a teenager. I could do 5-6 plates of food. Despite being a bone rack. I also ate 6-8lbs of watermelon (the entire melon) once during those years. A lot of urinating followed. My metabolism and ability to eat huge quantities of food has since decreased significantly.

Maybe in Vegas buffet.

Or, once, I was traveling for work out to Vancouver, for an EA event, and got 2 filet mignon meals for myself.

I have no idea which is probably bad. But yeah I've done in entire large pizzas before.

I've had a 1 LB burger from Fuddruckers, fries, and a large shake. That was after backpacking for 12 days and living off of trail food.

I've eaten a whole pizza before, but they are typically thinner crust or have a smaller diameter.

Nothing too crazy really.

I had all-you-can-eat dim sum once where I ordered too much and felt compelled to eat it or I'd have to pay extra. I felt sick afterwards and didn't eat again for over 24 hours.

If we're going quantity over single item? Probably my first time at Brazilian Steakhouse. It was a glorious, never ending meat parade that I was wholly unprepared for. And I loved every minute of it!

1kg Schnitzel. Finished it with a side of fries.
2kg rips are also pretty easy (cuz most of it are bone).

Biggest meal I ever did for myself was 1kg patty in an entire kebab-bun with tomatoes, onions cabbage, an entire package of bacon and cheese... that lasted for 2 days. I couldn't even finish 1/3 of that in one go.

Wow OP, for once I'm not disappointed with the food choice on here.
Was expecting some disgusting American gruel and slop.

2.5 Kg of Japanese Curry in Tokyo! Tons of rice under fried pork cutlets with sausages and prawns. All of it covered in delicious curry, really good stuff.

We ordered more after finishing the above. I'm honestly surprised we were even able to stand up after all that sushi, lol.

I once went to a turkey dinner put on by our Rotary Club, with a family member with special needs. My family would go every year and it's been over 20 since we started.

I had a medium plate of food, then went back up and was told to help myself because there was tons left. I'm a bigger guy so I got quite a bit.

Then I had some pie.

On the way home, I decided to visit my grandparents. The meal had been lunch instead of supper which it used to be, so I got there at 3 or 4 and visited. Then they asked me to go for Chinese with them.

I originally declined but they asked me again, and know how much I love Chinese food. So I went and had another meal.

Back when I was an overweight teen, I chowed down all but one slice of a medium-size Pizza Hut pie. I didn't sleep a wink that night, for which I am eternally grateful.

I remember when I was a teenager I went to Ivar's Seafood Restaurant which had an all you can eat. I gorged.
I can't and wouldn't do that type of thing anymore.

An entire extra large pizza from Papa John's followed up by a whole apple pie. It was the early 2000s, I was very unhealthy, and ate like this for months.

Any Brazilian steakhouse. Massive salads, bread, sides, nearly 2 lbs meat. Don't eat for a day after.

To those that skip to salad to eat more meat, I applaud you, but honestly not worth it. I want to be able to shit this out within 2 days instead of a week. Besides, 2 lbs of rare top quality steak is enough.

I've definitely eaten a large pizza by myself once, followed by a pint of ice cream. Never again.

13 tacos. Taco Time (Canadian chain restaurant) used to have all you can eat Taco Tuesdays for $5.99. 13 was all I could eat it turns out. I ate one more than the biggest person who I was there with who went on to play in the NHL....so maybe if I had just eaten one less taco my life would have been different.

Went crazy at a seafood place once... 3 dozen raw oysters, a platter with 3 fried shrimp, 2 catfish filets, stuffed crab, hush puppies, fries and 3 micheladas each having a boiled shrimp in it. After all that me and my buddy split a dozen boiled shrimp for dessert.

42 oz Tomahawk Steak with a side of creamed spinach. I shared a bit of the steak with others at the table, but easily ate over 30 oz on my own.

Here in southern Brazil we have a lot of German culture because of the great immigratory flux we had in the 1820's through the 1970's. In Germanic cities we have what we call "Café Colonial" (Colonial Coffe) where we have all-you-can-eat with some amazingly good stuff and looks something like this:

I've hit several restaurants of Café Colonial, and I am pretty sure I haven't eat as much anywhere else in my entire life.
