I would say Killzone 2 or 3 could be crossed off for a remake because you could just port them over, do 1080p and 60fps and they would look fine. They aren't in need of a full remake treatment.
Weapons and armour doesn't exactly give us a lot to go on but it's definitely more than nothing. How many games have wide selections of weapons and armour that would be significant enough for Bluepoint to be working on? I can't think of too many as even if a game has weapons and armour the way this is written kind of points to it not just being a character design role.

They said their next remake would be bigger than Shadow of the Colossus. It is definitely not ICO.
You missed the chance to achieve maximum clickbait by not having this as your thread title.
Not really if it comes out in 2019 which would make it a decade after the original. Most big-name remakes in gaming seem to come out around that timespan.
Resident Evil was only 6 years old when it was remade, Mario 64 was 8 years old, Halo Combat Evolved was 10 years old and Shadow of the Colossus was just over 12.

I wanted to put "Demon's Souls Remake seemingly confirmed" at the thread title but I thought the mods would lock it so I didnt... it would be funny tho
Shadow of the Colossus was already basically PS3 era, off by one year and was remastered previously.
If anything PS3 era makes more sense given that it's typically harder to sell non-"open" genre games.
I don't know if a remake of Demon's Souls would hold up in this modern climate, gameplay-wise, especially after seeing where Sekiro is taking the genre. Something like SotC still holds up because of how novel it is, and stuff like Uncharted holds up 'cause of the story. On the other hand, Demon's Souls is basically From's first foray into something that's since grown immensely, and which is highly dependent on how great the gameplay was back then.
I don't understand what would constitute a remake of Demon Souls. It still holds up and it's not like Souls games today have graphically evolved from it.

Demon's Souls is most definitely a major graphical downgrade from BB/DS3. There's much, much less geometry, bloom-filled ugly lighting, low-resolution textures and generally quite poor character animation. It also, like SotC, runs badly on the original console and the 720p resolution hinders things quite a bit as well. That's not to mention how many gameplay tweaks and changes could be made, or the fact that the game's online servers are down for good on PS3.

This has to be a PS5 title. i would be very disappointed if their next remake was just a PS4 game.
