Don´t focus too much on the 3* weapons, you should be able to craft 4* soon.
On my whale account, she can basically solo the entire event when fully invested because axe users have good clearing ability along with easy force strikes/mini-stuns, she hits hard despite being a defensive unit, her heal passive/defense ability alllows her to continually attack the boss without fear of getting stunned, and her Slayer's Strength gives her 30% Strength (when upgraded) at 5 stacks from just killing mobs.
Doing Challenge battle give a lot of Tricker Treats. Reaching last wave give 3k before any boost.
You can put 4 Plunder Pals and boost it to double.
I think once Sweet Treat is maxed, all stamina should go towards the Challenge battle.

At least it's a Halloween wyrmprint, I guess, so there's that event bonus... Well, and that I finally got 3 4* light characters, so yay...?
Thinking of buying the Welcome pack, though the thought of getting a non-light with the ticket is scaring me. I only have 2 of the original 5* cast though! So the chance of a repeat is low!... And now that I said that, I'll probably get a repeat.
At least it's a Halloween wyrmprint, I guess, so there's that event bonus... Well, and that I finally got 3 4* light characters, so yay...?

...well, I just pulled a normal Althemia with one of the event's tickets, so that's better than Eldwater for another event version, I guess...
And I just barely managed to kill the special boss as Amane (after the rest of my light party died...). It's got 3x the drops of snacks (~120 vs ~40, before the 2x from prints) and seemingly 2x of jacks (6 vs 3), so even if it remains a struggle for a bit I guess I'll definitely be going for it every time it pops now, especially as it's "free". And doing co-op for the expert fight cause WOW is that ever way faster than doing it solo, even with off-element folks joining. At least Althemia having the event staff is indeed + a few stats even before the % boost, so that's nice.
Somehow I have to fit the rest of my dailies in now... goodbye wings, you stayed near 50 for such a long time... though of course there's still 180+ in freebies I haven't used, so I dunno why I still care.

Edward is a really good unit for the Challenge, I'm surprised in a good way...

For sure, the range it has and the damage output is insane. Add that with increased crit chance and it's a monster compare to most weapons regarding damage.
Yep, and I like the fact that he's stronger at full HP, it gives me a good excuse to tryhard in battle. :^)
I crafted my first 5* weapon (T1) for him, and unlocked 40 nodes. As a base 3* unit it's pretty cheap.
On top of that the katana force strike going though a boss is clutch when you need to get on the opposite side of it to avoid a big attack.
Cleared the horde boss for the first time. Using a damage-dealing helper instead of a healer helps a lot, but only one of my AI teammates survived.
Damn I cant even clear the Extra Boss battle. I had Althemia and Elisanne as light units, but I guess thats not enough.
If I do a 10 summon are they all bound to the same pity even if I just needed 5 for a rate up?
Yeah, mines at 60% now, itll be a huge difference once I get to 100
Decided to use my last 1500 wyrmite to do a 10 pull since I still don't have a better light dragon than Jupiter. Didn't get any, but got Ezelith instead! Can't wait to crash water events with her ;)
Fire team is looking pretty good now with Ezelith, Verica, MC, and Vanessa. Even have a dagger ready to enhance to fire elemental since I built one up for Orsem during the raid. Next event wind, please?

How do I beat the daily quest? I have an appropriate might all light team and get crushed each time (steamrolled the rest of the event quests until now).

I mean, if you really get down to it, it's not worth it. However, that's only if you're a min-maxer who only cares about gameplay. 3* have a pretty big drawback that 4* don't have (skill wise), but honestly, if you like a character, do what you want. I promoted Irfan, a 3* light dagger user, and I don't regret it for one second. There are no 4* or 5* light dagger users, and I like daggers, so it was a no-brainer. Did I 'waste' 5k Eldwater if the next banner has a 4* or 5* light dagger user? Yeah I guess, but it's whatever. He's helping me right now in this event, so I'm happy.
Reason I ask is that if this Halloween Edward is worth it or if it's okay for him to stay as a 3* unit and just use him as is for the event. I only have 3 4*+ star characters and I'm wonder if he would be okay for a mono-light team?

I think Halloween Edward is super good. I think a good idea would be to get him as far as you can as a 3*, then if you like him, feel free to promote.
Still have about 5 10-pulls left, but I figure I'll save them.
Pulls weren't TOO bad. My first two pulls got me a 5 * wyrmprint and Nidhogg. The two 10-pulls after that didn't get me much of anything though. Also used my seven single-summoning tickets which didn't get me much either.

Ai makes it more difficult, but is not exactly impossibly ble, many people is getting trashed (likely) cause the bug preventing the light buildings to buff

Also, the event only being 1 week long makes me think we were fooled, there will be a second part with a new banner and many people (i did ;____;) already went all in in tickets and WS
To wade into this a little H!Edward's Lvl 2 of his leech skill is locked behind the 4* Mana Circle. It is the difference of getting about 40 healed hp per use to over 100 per use. Also he hits like a truck in this event with an upgraded facility. Also 50% curse resistance to give him 75% total is on the 4* Mana Circle as well.
I like him, I am way into blade characters. His passives aren't amazing but I like both of his attack skills. Already promoted him to 4* and I haven't unbound the 3rd circle yet.
Currently waiting for the Light orb stage to show up again.
Unless they come out with a Succubus Mym for part two, I think I'm safe. Elisanne for life.
Decided to buy the starter pack with the 1500 adamantium and 5* ticket since I figure I've played this game long enough to justify the price. Got Xainfried. It's good I didn't get a dupe, but I admit it would have been nice to get a 5* adventurer in an element I already didn't have one in. On the other hand, my water team is currently very powerful.
Had a really long day so only just getting caught up now on the building and finally got my pulls done. No Halloween Elisanne for me. Kinda sad about it as I like Elly, but hey I did end up getting Julietta, Mikoto and Xanfreid. Though Xanfreid is a troll, I thought he was gonna be Elly when I saw the lance drop :( :( :(. Though I did get Althemia! Gonna promote her to 5 star to make up for no light Elly. I can't really complain about this games pulls, I've somehow gotten 6 5-star characters and ended up with 3 Levithans during the last event so I'm pretty good on the water dragon front at least!
Maybe I can get enough wyrmrite by the end of the event to get another 2 pulls done. I still haven't done the majority of the character stories (I sit through all of them, they're fun lol) and I still got 4 chapter of Hard mode to do. So I still got a decent source of some wyrmrite to look forward too.

This is kinda where I'm at. This is my first gacha game, but I've got 3 5* adventurers and 4 5* dragons, so I feel I've gotten a pretty decent amount.
Also, it's just asking for trouble to be expecting to get the lead showcase character in each event, so I ultimately need to know where to cut my losses. I'll save the rest of my 10-pulls for later (Plus, I technically got the 5* dragon with Nidhogg this time).
This is kinda an interesting event so far. The fight "pumpking in co-op -> use rewards to upgrade facility -> use new power to challenge a tough solo fight" process is really different from the last event, and I like it so far. It's a shame there is no particularly exciting reward to chase after though. Everything unique about the rewards is stuck behind the gacha system. They could at least toss a ten-summon ticket on the treat list.
So far, Ryozen has been a huge help, especially with the event elemental lance. With him I can get through the third wave of the challenge battle even after all my AI allies die, and I was super close to getting past the fourth wave last time I tried. With some upgrades to the Retreat and some adjustments to my dragons, this'll work, I think.

No that's pretty much it, as far as I can tell.
Once you have a full team with +point event CEs the structure is "use co-op wings to grind the boss for mats to upgrade your Sweet Retreat, use stamina to grind the rush for points".
It seems that at this point I either die on the third wave of the challenge battle or clear the fourth. Getting about 6750 points every time I pull it off, too. Of course, that fifth wave us going to be a BIG hurdle, as I've yet to see it with more than a few seconds left on the clock.
Managed to get my first Halloween Horrors boss kill in the most gratifying way imaginable: having Jeanne crit her ability for 10k+ with about five seconds left.

The treasure trade lance and wand are both stronger than a 4* tier 2. And for a significantly lower cost of investment as well.
Curious if the Daily Battle didn't work for anyone else? I did it yesterday, and then today, soon as the day changed over, I tried again but it blocked me, saying 23 h left till I could challenge again. Seems like a bug to me but is this happening to anyone else?
That happened to me as well. I just came here to post and ask that same question, actually.
I hope they fix that fast. That has a nice Rupie reward...
