Give me strength, God, for I am weak.

Seriously though, I've been on a blackout since the second trailer. It's been hard, but I absolutely believe it will pay off.

So 7 days Preload phase. Very good. With nearing 90GBs and PSNs whack connection speeds this should be plenty of time for everyone.

Is that pre-load date even for PS4? Doesn't Sony only allow that to go up 3 days before release?

So not even another gameplay trailer?

I mean obviously it's working for them but I can't believe how stingy R* has been with the marketing of this game.

Neat. Wonder how many devs had to extend their work weeks by 2.5 times the normal amount to make the trailer happen. Fucking Rockstar.

Any word on review embargo and Xbox One X performance and graphics results?

I don't get these questions/worries about the X version all the time. Let me tell you this as a PS4/PS4 Pro owner: It will obviously be the best performing version. At the very least you can expect a nice bump in resolution over the PS4 Pro version, which is the version we've seen in the last two gameplay trailers. It already looked great. You will be in for a treat on X even more so.

Do you say this about every trailer you watch?

Not every trailer is for a game made by a company with history of horrible labor practices publicly bragging about 100 hour work weeks for employees and then backpedaling in the worst way possible. I find myself hoping the game fails, because it doesn't deserve to succeed with shit like that.

Dan was talking about his writing team, himself included, having few 100 hour weeks this year. That's it.

You want the game to fail so that the hard work the devs put in it goes to waste? What kind of logic is this?

You're immensely naive if you think Rockstar is the only company with these sort of issues.

You want the employees to have their work fail? Lol.

I'm sure hard working devs at Rockstar would be ecstatic to find out that you got their back by hoping for a game they spent 8 years creating to fail because of crunch.

It's already going to waste. No children's toy is worth slaving away like that, especially in the case of salaried employees with little financial incentive to do so. Rockstar is a company with longstanding history of severe crunch and pressuring employees to put in major overtime. But those horse balls will totally validate all of that.

And that makes it ok? Big games like these should be made an example of to discourage these practices. I'd love to see some major outlets deduct points from reviews or disqualify the game from GOTY contention over this shit.

So basically deduct points from every AAA game and disqualify every AAA game from GOTY awards? What?
