Overall I'd say it's the tightest BR game I've played as far as movement/gameplay, but yeah the sound is shit. Can tell someone is nearby but no clue where lol.

I'm about to prestige on PS4 and I haven't had any connection issues at all, neither have any of my friends.
Aside from 1-2 game disconnects in the lobby between matches.
I also played 240 hours of WW2 and had only a handful of connection problems.
You sure it isn't your connection or maybe your ports aren't forwarded properly?
On PS4, can you play split screen over share play with a friend? For example, could you play duos on Blackout this way, or would you need an extremely beefy connection?
I've never had so many issues trying to run a game on PC. I wish so badly I could get a refund, I like the game but I've spent more time trying to fix it rather than playing it.
I'm certainly hoping for a lone wolves Chaos TDM playlist asap. I'm sorry for quitting, teammates, but there's no way in hell I'm wasting my time playing against a party of 2-5 level 50+ guys with the same clan tag. Fuck that.

Oh.. wait. Are you saying you're getting put into blackout games that have less than 10 players?
Sheesh, that certainly sounds like it shouldn't be happening. I couldn't say how it is on my end since I don't really play any blackout, but I hope it gets fixed for you soon.
Are solo and quads points contributing to the same leveling? I just might go solo, most times my team mates in quads haven't done anything to help me land in the Top 10 anyway

I love the game I do I have been (trying my best) to play this nonstop but why / what is it that makes blops4 make my GPU temp hit 90 and my computer sounds like a jet taking off regardless of min or max settings or AMD performance tweaks. Does it run bad ? No it's smooth but the sounds that it's making my computer make are absurd I'm in fear of my comp setting on fire.
Oh, and I gotta say kudos to Treyarch for making Zombies extremely accessible now. Between the tutorials, the easy modes, the less confusing meta and the bots, I managed to play with my girlfriend who basically never played an FPS before (let alone COD), and we went all the way to like round 43 on XI. We powered up our weapons like crazy, we got them juices, and we mauled zombies left and right. Had we used a better strategy from the get go we could have gone even farther, but it was already lenghty as it was (2h 20m). Black Ops 2 is my all-time favourite COD but playing that game's Zombies maps without experienced players on your side? Good luck getting past round 15.
I think it's 50 points for top 15/10/5 in solo/duos/quads respectively.
I guess your GPU is under full load at all times with the game, which isn't a bad thing but obviously heats up the card which in turn makes the fans spin faster. Maybe try capping the framerate in-game? If the game runs at around, say, 100fps typically, I would imagine capping it to 60 would lighten the load.
I think mine runs at around 120-130, but I capped it to 100 and the GPU is certainly a bit quieter than it is with Forza Horizon 4.
Been using the equipment charge over armour lately, and it's really fun. Having the radiator/9-bang/cluster bomb over and over again is great.
I really hope they fix the sound issues soon. I just broke through a window and shot at a guy. I didn't expect him to be there so I died. When I see the kill cam it looked like he just happened to turn around and shoot at me because I couldn't at all hear the window breaking from his kill cam. I don't know if that's just the cam or you literally can't hear a fucking window shattering in Blackout.
That's just way too low - basically 80%+ of the players in a given round are getting no progress (aside from trifles for kills). As Blackout is the one mode where you don't get any competitive advantage from leveling up, you'd think they'd be a little more generous. I'd bet that will be adjusted soon, it's straight up dumb where it is now.
I know I've spent the most time in that mode (playing with my son to get him used to competitive MP) and we've made basically no progress in levels. Dumb system.

As a bad player that sounds like an amazing way to farm points... But obviously terrible if you actually want to play the game :(
It discourages even more from taking risks. Getting a top 10 in solo is worth 50 points, what you'd get for 5 kills basically. What's easier, going out of your way to aggro and make sure you kill 5 dudes without going down yourself? Or hiding in the toilet with a loaded machine gun and wait it out? Sure, there is nothing worth levelling for yet, but time played, distance made, damage done, plus any result should be worth something.
I just unlocked the Strobe Light mod for the SG-12 shotgun. It disables ADS but puts a light on the shotgun to blind people.

Is the strobe light always on and does it reveal your location all the time or is the effect really visible only when the enemies are already looking at you? I recall someone saying it was crap before, but going by the gifs above it definitely looks useful. I'll have to give it a try.
It's a bug, they said it will be fixed in the next update. In the meantime, just switch your weapon so the dot will come back
I know what you mean, there aren't many layers / shapes to work with, but with a little creativity I got to this with only 59 layers.
It's possible to make something decent, but complexity has to be reigned in...
It's only on when you press LT to aim. So if you hold LT down and walk, it'll always be active and enemies should always see it.
I'm loving the strobe light. Partly because of the bright light but also because of how tight it makes aiming. I was destroying people with it.
I had extended mags 1 & 2 and the attachment that gives you 2 more pellets.
Might switch it up and put Scavenger and maybe substitute extended mags 2 for long barrel.
This. Played last night and it was literally one of the worst/unpleasant gaming experiences in my whole gaming life.
Last year, the bad spawns were due to badly designed maps. Even still, I didn't died due to being blown up instantly by a glide bomb, spawned in front of the objective as the enemy team captured it, and so on. I died in spawn because the maps were bad and easily allowed the enemy team to trap you there (mostly on maps like Gibraltar and USS Texas).
That's fucking disgusting. I love it and hate it already.
You know me too well. This is exactly one of the reasons why I got it but yeah would have been fun to play duo's with ya.
