Do you know if there's still issues with uploading certain footage due to music? I think there was issues with Earthbound stages and Cloud because of it. I know no one especially likes New Pork City but seeing footage of it would be nice

To be fair, many people were guessing that we are going to get some kind of announcement today or tomorrow due to "Nintendo of Canada" event at the bar, and supposedly to be viewing party or something being scheduled on Thursday.
I'm not sure of all the specifics. Most of the footage will likely be the same as what you say at E3 but it'll be "new" in the sense it was captured in the last week or so.
If nothing happens, I want to make sure I have a record of their false claims.

To be fair given Japan doesn't have daylights savings, without looking back at actual times I could see that influencing when they're announced

Alright guys I'll stop, sorry for making you guys hyped for nothing. Honestly I just wanted to be your 4chan insider. I've been browsing that site since 2009 and I know the ins and outs so I thought I could give you fresh info. I have hunches as in: I can feel when something big is coming and that's not just from hype, that's from seeing actual leaks or signs. I remember browsing in 2013 and seeing a leak with Bowser Jr that only had a pallette swap as proof and then going: yup, you can't guess that. Turns out this little text leak got everything right. I think this website has better conversation material than both 4chan and gamefaqs and Smashboards is hell to navigate. I can feed the fire of leaks, if you'll let me, or I can be silenced, if you'd rather that.

So can anyone explain how someone uploads the actual menu theme and it's approved by Nintendo, as SourceGaming said? This whole thing is bizarre.
Apparently the press got to record more footage of the game recently. It's very likely that they received some press materials that they can use for content relating to the game, which likely included the menu theme.
