He and his doctors had a real positive outlook on beating it again too. That shit is insidious.
I lost someone I cared deeply about to same thing. Complications from non-hodgkin's. It had come back as well, everyone was optimistic, and he died after catching a lung infection. Its awful.
RIP Paul
He's done a lot for the city, his philanthropic work can't be ignored, and he saved football in Seattle. Hard not to have respect for him.
RIP. And fuck cancer.
I think it was Hodgkin's in '82, then Non-Hodgkin's in 2009, which then came back recently. Not sure if there's a relation between the 2, but cancer is always worrying. My wife is going through the same Non-Hodgkin's lymphoma now and it's been half a year since she's finished treatment. She's doing fine now (symptoms never came back), but I can't help but be worried everydayWow I didn't know he was actually diagnosed with Hodgkin's lymphoma back in 1982, have it treated, then come back in 2009 and now once again. So much time for him to have to worry about it coming back and deal with. My dad recently (3 years ago) went into remission with colon cancer and I always, always worry it'll show back up.
RIP.
He owned the Portland Trailblazers and the Seattle Seahawks. He was also a minority owner of the Seattle Sounders of MLS.
Yeah it's hard on us for sure but I can't begin to think what they're going through on a daily basis. Glad to hear she's doing fine now, let's let that continue for a long, long time.I think it was Hodgkin's in '82, then Non-Hodgkin's in 2009, which then came back recently.
