It's not his fault. He had a so so regular season followed by a great playoff run. It remains to be seen what kinda player he'll be in the upcoming season. Will he keep that playoff magic?

No one is denying that Harden has a few MVP caliber seasons under his belt. 2014-15 Steph was still a great year. Broke 3pt record, won MVP, won championship.

I mean Tatum last year had better numbers than Kobe age 19 season. And Tatum was a beast in the playoffs and went to game 7 in the conference finals.

Yeah, but Tatum had a very good roster around him, including an all-star big man, one of the best coaches in the game and plays for an organization with a history of success.

Russ has had enough time, he's fully in "He can't until he does" mode to me. He plays hard as fuck, and that's cool but correlating to winning? Eh.
Were the numbers better, though? Tatum had lower PER and lower WS/48 on more minutes. His defensive numbers were indeed better, though. BPM and shit is all team and basketball era dependent, so they're not really comparable.
