Well you're not wrong. Statistically only Bregman has been better this year over last with his offensive production. The rest of our big hitters like Springer Correa and Altuve have all been worse

He was the pitcher that gave up the lead run to the Astros. And since the Red Sox never tied or took the lead again, he takes the loss.
So it doesnt matter if he wasn't the one that let them on base? They weren't ERs for him right?
