Wow OP, you're so clever and funny. I'm really impressed at your life and accomplishments, as well as your sardonic off the cuff sense of humor. If only I could be more like you OP.

Are we good here? Did you get what you need?

Pretty mean, man. It is a dumb thread, but it is harmless. You really don't have to go for the throat like that.

If you wish for your punches to reach their full potential, then you must sit down with Chris Kohler and explain to him the innate value of a good punch. It's the little things in life, like a wicked bruise on one's shoulder, that best serve to remind each and every one of us that we are alive and that we can make mistakes - same as everyone else. Reach into his heart. (Don't punch his heart while you're in there. Unless, like, you really need to.) Make sure he understands that with each punch, his worldview expands, his perspective widens, he gains new insight into the complexities of this world. Move him with your words, so that your fist may move him more. When he feels your fist graze his shoulder, and you see his face light up with joy - that's when you know your message has been heard. You'll be free to walk away knowing you've just instilled the happiness of gained knowledge into another human being. And who knows! You might even inspire Chris Kohler to spread the joy around. And then, your punch becomes so much more than mere physical contact. Indeed, your punch will have inspired him to punch, and in turn, others will learn, and join the fold. You will have created a social network of punches that could change the way the world percieves the very act of punching someone. You can change the world. It all begins with you punching Chris Kohler.

Two decades ago the games industry was introduced to the Kohler Punch.

It basically consists of me hiding somewhere and punching Chris Kohler on the shoulder when he least expects it, a few people have done so at events in my absence.

Should this cruel and unussual punishment of Kohler END NOW or is it a cherished tradition that should be preserved for the ages?

I will abide with what you people decide.
YES! PLEASE! Tell him large Marge...I mean snazz sent you!

There's humor and then there's shameless self promotion and ego stroking. I mean, OP only has a few posts and a good chunk of them are name drops and not so humblebragging. More power to OP if that's his thing but last i checked self promotion was frowned upon on Era.

Fine. Fair enough in this instance.

My point overall still stands though.

After 2 decades the whole routine must be getting a little stale. Up your game. Pin him down and make him lick a battery.

I know that your threads are basically all "hey I know (knew?) this guy!", but what's the point really?
