Watching Yuzupyon's stream of seductive banned game #2 atm.
The game is very progressive they said they quote went out of their way to hire black and asian chicks for the diversity endquote.

I should play Brutal Legend on PC. I probably like it more than most. I didn't particularly enjoy the RTS stuff during the endgame but I can overlook that because of all the metal and open world and all that good stuff. Also that menu is still the best.

So I ran into a fort in Achaia to take out the leader there, and in the process I got caught murdering the poor guy and had a wonderful chase scene where a dozen Spartans were running after me shouting and shooting arrows. I noticed that my escapades meant that I ended up with a rather large bounty, with the top 4 mercenaries in the entire game now chasing after me. I was happy to see that they had come out to play, as I was ranked 5th, but all 4 at once? Outnumbered 4 to 1?

It turns out that's an even fight.

Yeah, I think the game is underrated in general. You're right in that the RTS stuff isn't the best, but it also isn't all that hard, and there's still at ton of neat stuff in that game.

I heard you guys like anime here.

It's weird that I haven't seen this before despite the video being close to a year old now.

Little Nightmares looks and plays really nice. I like creepy atmosphere and slower paced and stealth focused gameplay.

Yeah going to be playing that soon. With it being October I already finished the Blackwell games and have Little Nightmares and Yomawari lined up.
Get Unavowed, if you liked the Blackwell games and Wadjet Eye in general, Unavowed is their best output yet, or at the very least among their top 5.

I still don't get why did Brutal Legend had to be RTS, it should have focused on the open world elements and not the crappy console RTS parts. Activision was right to drop the game.

It started as an RTS game. They did years of prototyping just console-capable PVP action-RTS stuff and once they got that nailed down, they wrapped the whole thing in the metal trappings and added the campaign.

I stopped playing Brutal Legend during the very first RTS segment.

Sorry, Double Fine... I just can't.

Unavowed is definitely Wadjet Eye's best, I think that's fair to say. It really is brilliant on many levels.

After playing Forza Horizon 4 and attempting to finish Night in the Woods, I'm back on my bullshit of playing only CS:GO.

I'm 17 hours into Odyssey and don't really remember who my character is or what my end goal is. The grinding and side missions just destroy the pacing of Origins and Odyssey.

I don't know if we're allowed to post YouTube links (I'm sure most of you would be able to search for it yourselves) but there's an excellent video in which Brian Moriarty explains how Loom came into existence. At one point he becomes so emotional he actually tears up - I had no idea the game meant so much to him.

Personally, Moriaty's text-adventure game Trinity, published by Infocom, remains one of the greatest experiences I've ever had with a pc game. A magical, transporting game that will live inside me forever. That game defined the summer of 1986 for me.

A shame that Moriarty didn't keep making games after Loom (beginning with its sequel). I'm sure they would have all been something to behold

Is the in-game dialogue similarly humorous? I thought the leafbook in Ni No Kuni 2 was hysterical but the main game's writing is considerably dryer.
