iv notice something lately, when i pick up my Switch after a long break ( coming back from work, morning when i wake up ) i can hear the fan of the Switch, spinning like for 2 minutes. It goes off and never happen to hear them when playing. Is this normal?

Is it spinning loudly when you start a game? If yes that's normal

I remember GameXplain talking about this during the launch of the Switch... it can be normal for some games like BOTW or Mario Kart 8, and you will feel the Switch get warmer in your hands too

Yeah it's normal, I get caught off guard sometimes when I hear it during a silent loading screen or something.

I noticed this the other day when checking out the Mega Man 11 demo... I had headphones on and could still hear the fans! I was concerned at first as I've never experienced this before... it took a few minutes but they settled down. I played another game after the MM11 demo and fans were fine... it's a bit curious though...

I've had the fans go super super loud before to ridiculous levels just randomly. It has happened maybe 4 times total since the launch of the switch. I "fix" it by just putting the system in standby mode. When I return to game it's all fixed for whatever reason.

I've had two. In handheld I typically would hear them around startup / wakeup, but they'd slacken during play.

Yes, normal. Though it shouldn't be loud enough to overshadow a moderate game sound volume.
