Arrow, Legends, Black Lightning are good
I love The Flash comics so I'll always watch the show even if it sucks
I enjoy watching all of them, no way I'd bother to otherwise.
I make fun of the Flash because I like it.
I actively dislike Arrow and find Supergirl boring, so I stopped watching 'em.
I defend all the shows cause I'm a mark. I just enjoy that I get to see these characters on TV all at once. I realize not every episode is a winner, but in the grand scheme of things, I just don't care.

He's talking about the fact Diggle will actually be involved in the main plot for once.
Because he'll be part of The Longbow Hunters. And it might end up quite well. He is good enough to carry the villain role.
Legends and Lightning are good,
Arrow and Flash were amazing once so they still can get my attention in hopes of a quality return...
Supergirl had a cool Manhunter twist and a great Superman once I guess.

Kirk Acevedo probably has a 13 episode regular deal, I doubt they'll go overboard on him. Remember The Thinker was a regular on Flash and Neil Sandilands wasn't even in a big chunk of episodes.
Beth Schwartz has made comments on interviews about making him become the Dragon fans know from the comics. If she can pull that off, it will be a villain "redemption " on par with what Legends did with Dahrk.

Not sure if it was mentioned, but Marc Guggeneheim - thanks to his new overseeing role - is writing the entire crossover.
Too bad the crossover is so far away because Ralph catching up AND Diggle discovering the multiverse would be a glorious mix
After finding out about the DEO, Ralph will take to the whiteboard again and propose that maybe their Earth also has some sort of clandestine government group that is locking up metahumans.

If they show multiple eras they absolutely can show one which Diggle is a superhero.... just not sure if they can mention GL by name
