Finally caught a Warehouse deal on a Pro; £210 isn't too bad. Now just need to set up figuring out what to do about getting PT onto it!

Their site has security flaws that they've never patched, their database is completely open to anyone who wants to access it. VGP/videogamesplus.ca is a buffet which crooks lurk around then rush to whenever new orders are made in the hope of being first to those juicy CC details.

Yeah, it's why I recommend people to only use paypal if they really want to order from them.

Though frankly I'd always pick someone else over them, just because I don't want to support their total lack of care towards their customers details.

I only ever use PayPal now when ordering from VG+, but I'm using them less & less thanks to 365games offering comparable prices.

I did the transfer via Ethernet when I got my Pro last year and everything went on the Pro OK (including PT). Although I guess if you've put a new HDD in the PS4 you're transferring from that could complicate things.
I have, it's got a big one in there (I think 2TB, might be wrong). Might need to invest in another to ease the transfer (and besides, I could then stick the old in an enclosure or something)

I know assassins creed origins is £32 online at tesco, but is it the same price in-store? I've got an additional voucher that's in-store only I want to use as well to bring the price down even further.
Anyone know the in-store price of it?

It was £32 in Tesco when I was there a couple of hours ago. Sold out though :( was going to do the same and use a club card voucher for more off.

Just out of interest, how long the did the transfer take? I've a couple of digital games I fancy starting, but won't bother if re-downloading them will be quicker than a transferring once my Pro arrive?

If anyone in Germany is looking for an Xbox. Saturn have the Xbox One S bundle for 169€, and if lucky, some stores offer Battlefront II as bonus. Ridiculous price.

Took around 2 hours to complete the transfer I believe, although my HDD was around half full on my OG PS4, if you've got more data on there it'll likely take longer.

I may have been premature in saying I'd never need 4TB for my PS4 - had not realised at all how much space even physical games take up to install (FFXV currently sitting at over 60GB, whaaaaaat). The 4TB Elements deal for £89 is gone now, FYI, though Amazon also have the 4TB My Passport for £99 which doesn't seem too bad. Not sure how it fares as an external for a console though.

Guess I'm hoping something comes up on Monday, but I've finally reached max capacity on the PS4 today and can't install/download anything until I scrap stuff. How could this happen to me, etc.

Amazon.de has an offer for Mario odyssey but only if you are a prime member.
If i caancel the prime trial within 30 days, i won't have to pay for the subscription at all?

Even then you'd still be giving up your real name and address to crooks.

I agree videogamesplus don't deserve anyone's custom.

Pretty sure COD is £36 in Tesco. Best I saw for Star Wars was £38 at Simply Games but if you can hold on for a bit I have a feeling that will drop hard based on reception to the game. Probably not going to be playing 2 multiplayer games at the same time so maybe grab COD now and BF in a few weeks?

Thanks for this! Pretty much exactly my thoughts - they're Christmas gifts but Mother Dearest likes to buy in early. I'm just trying my best to save her a few quid!

£36 is definitely better than I'd found so cheers, will make sure to check Tesco. Have mentioned that it's likely that BF will plummet but she's a headstrong woman is our mum.

If you can get her to wait til tomorrow it may be cheaper on Amazon. CODWWII was on the list of deals for .com so could also be on .co.uk

I'm in a similar boat though and my wife insisted on ordering it on Friday. £36 ain't too bad though!

Ps VR + Camera + Skyrim VR + VR Worlds

299€ @ Amazon.de

Is this a good deal?
It is a great deal for Germany. Amazon.uk had the deal for 250£ but with the postage to Germany it isn't much cheaper, so the Amazon.de deal is better in my opinion if you live in Germany. I ordered the same package, but with the V2 headset and without skyrim VR on alternate.de for 300€ Euro. Alternate changed the the description after my order so I'm not sure that I'll get the v2 version. So I ordered from Amazon as well and send one of the orders back. Can't wait to play RE7 in VR

It has been mentioned before but it is worth mentioning again:

  1. You can buy the 200gb SanDisk SD card for $50, which works out about £50 Including shipping.

Managed to get Zelda Switch for £33 from Amazon

They have £10 off a £40 spend on Prime Now

I combined that with a £5 extra promo credit for £20 Amazon top up at a newsagents

However unbeknownst to me ( and it isn't clearly stated anywhere ) you can't use normal Amazon credit towards Prime Now. They are considered different entities blah blah etc. very sneaky by them, terms and conditions are vague on the matter.

I was on the phone for an hour arguing with them ( worth it imo because I'm at work lol ) and thankfully they just gave me £10 additional credit on my normal Amazon, so I could get the game for such a good price.

Gotta be so careful with them on things like this. They don't like to crossover promos from each part of Amazon. So if you see a promo for Amazon normal, don't think it can crossover with Amazon Fresh or Prime Now, even though you can buy the same products from all of them. Very weird, they need to be clearer about it, but I suppose it's part of their business tactics to be vague about it and make it look like its all part of one thing.

I genuinely would have never used them again if they didn't resolve the issue, because I only did the newsagents thing because I wanted to buy Zelda. Otherwise I'd have Amazon credit bought for no reason.

I'm going to get the Season Pass for £14 from the South Africa Nintendo Shop, and that's a good £19 saved overall. Happy with that.

that link is a referral link
Don't be so quick to judge. Any time you copy a link to a product it generates a referral link. It's not something the OP has intentionally done and is shitty to imply they're being disingenuous about it or they'll scrape a profit off a sale.

Happened to me when I noticed Switch back in stock early this year. First poster shat on me accusing me of trying to play the other place for profit when really we are just passing on deals. Good thing literally everyone else backed me up on that.

Where did I imply anything of that nature? Literally all I said is that "it's a referral link."

Interesting, I wonder if it's the read speed that's a bit lower than the others? Not sure if there's a limit on which speeds the Switch can use.
It's the 2015 model. It doesn't have that "A1" specification for Android apps (faster loading) and is only 80MB/s vs 100MB/s for newer versions. Media Markt has/had the exact same card for the same price this week, too. The other 128GB Sandisk microSD the other day (sold out now) was the newer models with A1 and 100MB/s.
