GameStop offering $250/$300 toward One X until 10/28

Just saw it on their trade in section. At work so I can't post a link.

You can get $250 toward a One X by trading in a Switch, PS4 OG or Slim, or Xbox One S. $300 for a PS4 Pro. $200 for an original One.

I'm going to trade in my One S, personally. Thought this might help someone out with RDR2 coming out soon!

I did this yesterday for my original Xbone and am sort of having buyer's remorse... My system was dying but I really didn't use it much anyways so now idk what to do with the thing.

If I had a 4K TV I'd feel better about it but ehh

For those who are planning to do this, do it.

I've upgraded my S to X back in August and it was the best deal ever. I got the X, free copy of PUBG and Monster Hunter World for just $293 in total.

Seems like a great deal especially with the white Xbox One X with Fallout 76 hitting next week.

Thats a very great deal usually its like $60 trade in credit and I dont think anyone can get away with selling an OG Xbox One for $200.

Don't really use my S for anything more than BC games, Blu-ray movies, and streaming apps.

Had an OG before that but wanted to future proof my system for when I get a 4K TV eventually, so I can at least play my 4k Blu-ray's and streaming stuff.

Pretty solid deal though for people who do want to upgrade.

Does this promotion apply to multiple consoles? I have an OG XB1 as well as a One S and want to upgrade to the X.

If you find a cool manager they might overrride it. Last time they had this deal I used it to buy another project scoripio edition online. Manger said a One X is a One X as far as they were concerned.

I think you have to trade in a controller as well otherwise they'll deduct that from the trade in

I did the last one, and traded in my One S and PS4 and got $500, even though the system was only supposed to count one console. I basically got my X for like $30. Plus, I'm replacing the PS4 with a Pro, so I'm good with that.

I think you can trade it in towards an xbox one x, and just keep it store credit.

Technically, yes. If you buy a 1yr sub for $20 then your saves will be safe. Saves are kept for 6 months after your online sub expires.

This is a killer deal. I bought a One S brand new for $200 and Gamestop is gonna give $250 for it. For me it'd be basically buying a One X at 50% off technically. Gonna need to wait until my next paycheck to see if this is viable.

I just called one of my local stores and they said that if I traded in both the original and the S that the promotion would only apply to one of them.

Despite my typo it really isn't. It is terrible for different reasons. If I never have to take those elevators again I'll be happy.
