Dude seems sleazier by the day. Didn't he challenge DJT Jr. to a UFC fight the other day? Trashy as hell. What ever happened with his Kavanaugh accuser besides muddying the waters and emboldening the GOP because he didn't produce anything?

Well I certainly hope so.

...The Pardon will come soon after, of course, and Congress will simply shrug their shoulders in dismay.

Yeaahhhh, I'm not gonna hold my breath on this one. I'll be happy to be wrong, but I don't think he's privy to any special knowledge.

I don't believe him at all. He is becoming less credible and more crazy daily

Is that the cheeto or his son ? Always got the two fucks confused, why can't people be normal and not name their sons like themselves
Donald Trump naming his son after himself is the least surprising piece of information in the universe. I'm only slightly surprised he didn't go full George Foreman.

Bold claim, but I think we got a few more lackeys to go before they start going after the inner circle. Once that happens, Sr. is going to go nuclear.

I expect Mueller's American indictments to be revealed in mid/late November and think Jr will be indicted eventually...but Avanetti has no way of knowing this for sure. He has a source in Mueller's camp? Doubtful.

I don't think the first wave of American indictments will target Trump's family.

The guy has a record of calling his shots and nailing them. If this does happen though, Mueller will be fired immediately.

I don't believe him. The lame duck period is the worst period for Mueller to do anything because Trump would have the fewest restraints on his behavior and would suffer the fewest consequences for attempting to fire him

I'm more inclined to believe him based on his previous Manafort statements but a Donald Trump Jr. indictment would necessarily come out of the Mueller probe and that is a leak proof ship so I don't know where he'd be getting his information.

Best guess? Manafort has some information that his lawyers believe will lead to an indictment of Jr and they shared this with Avenatti.

It didn't blow up in his face. The FBI ignored it and the Senate committee didn't care.

Seriously, this whole "Avenatti fucked the investigation by bullshitting" narrative is revisionist bullshit peddled by the media trying to both-sides Kavanaugh.

He delivered. FBI didn't bite and the GOP is increasingly treating him like an enemy. Stop falling for the spin.

The mainstream media didn't even pursue it because of how weak a witness she was.
I believe plenty of media pursued it but after it was known that she wouldn't be part of the investigation, she got lost in the shuffle.

Anyways this guy exposed Cohen which is a huge boon to his reputation. He has credibility but let's see what he comes up with next.

I like his take no prisoners attitude with Trump.

The idea that he "delivered" is just as revisionist. He delivered a signed affidavit from Swetnick. That's not evidence. The FBI couldn't bite because their investigation was intentionally limited. So he neither delivered nor undelivered. I imagine this isn't the last we'll hear from Swetnick via Avenatti either.

He was pretty clear that Republicans in the SJC voting for Kavanaugh were going to regret it the next weekend, suggesting that he was actually going to release some more damning info. Now, I expect he held off on doing that in hopes that the FBI would be contacting them for the investigation, but at some point it should've been clear that wasn't happening. Then the report came out and he had no bombshells like he'd promised.

Obviously, I don't know what was going on behind the scenes, so maybe his clients decided it was a lost cause and to stop fighting or something, but he has a tendency to tease things that may get derailed or delayed. I'm all for him dropping bombs, but he needs to wait for them to be primed and ready next time after the Kavanaugh debacle. Don't tease us with months away possibilities.

Avenatti is getting more out there by the day. The Swetnick thing was a disaster for him.. now he's challenging Trump's to MMA fights and even using Trumpisms in his tweets (more or less).

This statement might end up being correct, but in this day and age even if he's wrong he can deflect it like it was nothing. That's politics in this day and age.

Dude seems in full campaign mode now. This was never about anything but himself it seems.

He is almost certainly on Mueller's list. Not sure about Avenatti's timeline, but I do think it's going to happen.

As much as I loath the idea of Avenatti being some progressive mascot, I will defend him here by pointing out that whatever information he may or may not have released is going to depend entirely on his client and any potential ongoing case. Avenatti may be a slimey media hungry lawyer, but by all indications he's also incredibly loyal and sincere for his concern of his clients. He won't compromise the future of Swetnicks case by releasing information in a haphazard way.
