In case you were feeling decent this morning: Another "heroic" white bystander noticed that two white children were being supervised by a black man and went into intervention mode. She attempts to talk with the kids, then stalks them in her car, and finally calls the police.

MARVEL at the fact that the officer not only responds, but actually ENTERTAINS the woman's baseless paranoia by confronting the man and questioning the children.

How are people not suing the police for this? How can we prevent the police from responding to and encouraging this sort of stupidity?

Why would anyone want to sue the police in this case?

I don't think the police are liable in this scenario. They have to investigate a call no matter how ridiculous it may sound after the fact. Going by the video, it seems like the police guys were aware that their time was being wasted, but they still had to check it out.

I'm going to thank you for this funny video of complete stupidity this morning.

I am not going to "marvel" at how the office responds, he has to investigate no matter how silly the call is, the police did nothing wrong here. You could even tell by his demeanor in the video he thinks is absolutely ridiculous, but hes doing his job.
