We have the same top three games. I feel like astro bot reviewed really well but nobodys really talking about it on the podcasts I listen to.
Was just about to post something similar. Fun stream but that was an absurdly small feed of the Allies!
Great Mario Party stream. Games like this and Monopy are always fun. Not looking forward to the Blackout stream.
What is the ratio of appearances of allies across Frame Trap, EZA podcast and Friend Code excluding corresponding hosts. Which allies are under represented, who is over represented and is the balance good enough. These are crucial questions that need to be answered, the future of the allies hinges on the findings of this report.

This spreadsheet was great but it seems to not have been updated since last year.
That is dedication. Now I would indeed love to see an up to date breakdown of appearances by percentage on the aforementioned podcasts.
I know Blood can't say anything, but I hope Red Dead is one of those so Jones can get some time with the game.
If Jones cancels his Far Cry stream, we'll know what's up.
Blood's working on his Forza review so streams probably won't get uploaded until he's done. That's how it usually goes.
Latest Friend Code was brilliant. Never been a particular fan of that show but this episode was a fantastic idea.
Kyle's "we should try to do some of these" would also make a great show. The Allies Achievements.
It made me laugh as well, but they probably can't confirm some of those anyway because of embargos.

and when you don't understand a game and aren't very good, it makes sense to not like it as much as other games. So it's not a slight or anything.
though Ian does criticize the controls and mechanics of the game at times if he gets frustrated, which is off base.

Ian feels like Smash is unresponsive, but he does admit that this might be attributed to the fact he doesn't really know what he's doing when he picks up a pad.
From the impression I've gotten from podcasts, impressions, etc, both Brandon and Ian are intending to give Ultimate a solid go.
The Friend Code podcast was a lot more entertaining than I was anticipating this week. Finally got around to watching it last night. Glad 'achievements' won the poll.
I don't get that impression tbh. Smash, Animal Crossing and Metroid are three of their most anticipated games, and they give more love to Tropical Freeze than any other outlet I've seen.
Not sure I'd agree with that.
most of them play stuff like AC, FE, Kirby, Smash, Luigi's Mansion, mario spinoffs, Pokemon, Star Fox, etc.

I include Mario spinoffs with Mario games. But I dunno, maybe because they aren't as outspoken about it. Kirby is like Blood, Ben, Kyle. FE is Kyle, Ben, Damiani. Pokemon is Kyle and Ben, with some Jones. But yeah didn't think about AC or Metroid.
Edit: Just to note, I don't have any issue with this or anything. Just my inner thoughts.
did you mean specifically when it comes to GOTY voting?
as I said, I think they have interests in a lot of the Nintendo Franchises. More than any other game company.
but for GOTY I think it would likely be a Mario Zelda or Metroid to actually win.

The Podcast Rogue's Gallery is actually insanely powerful. Imagine being able to see into the future and then sending that damage sponge wherever you need to. Could completely halt the party's progress.
I mean, if you look at the current Hall of Greats inductions list so far (a list which is intended to be the Allies list of the greatest games of all time, whether that is actually true or not is another conversation) 9 of the current 14 inductees are Nintendo Exclusive titles, with 3 of the other 5 having Nintendo Console versions and/or ports.
But, I think I might agree that when it comes to current games, more of the Allies are more excited by stuff coming out for PS4 than Switch, aside from the Switche's flagship titles.
Yes exacty, I couldn't really find what I wanted to say. But I meant in regards to current games. Like they have lots of nostalgia for older Nintendo games that's obvious.
Just watched the last group stream, that was sooo goood, might be the best one they have ever done. Not only looked the game amazingly fun to play but their match specifically was hysterical, really sold the game for me and will definitely pick it up down the line.

Fun episode. The various characters going through their motivations is really bringing back things together after a long, long period of stagnation. Huber dropped all of Pomper's lovable quirks and characteristics for the longest time and he felt mightily underdeveloped (which honestly is really true for most of the characters this season). This episode felt like a course correction of sorts.
Almost all of the new characters were developed in interesting ways. The new cobalt's arc seems to be picking up after a lackluster introduction. And Brad's new accent is downright hilarious. It's this weird take on what I can say is an Australian accent. I hope he sticks with it. Ben has also done a masterful job of voicing something like 7 different characters with their own unique accents and delivery so props to him.
The villains in this season are still awful though and I really can't relate to why this crew is after Tataka. Like do they have something against Gods? Or would they be cool with Tataka if he just got rid of the monster hordes? And quite frankly, it doesn't make sense for Tataka to keep Ramos around if he is bringing about so much death, especially if Tataka's point is to make everyone happy. Like the whole party + villain motivation is muddle and convoluted. Hopefully Ben ties it all together better moving forward.

What?? This is completley wrong, if the allies are one thing, that thing is big Nintendo fans. They all love a franchise and if HoG is an indication for something is how nostalgic the Allies are for Nintendo.
