That's lower then i expected, don't they do usually sell around 800k/1M? Must be over multiple weeks then.

Edit: though it looks like Vol. 34 sold like 875k in its first week. I'd imagine that was because the Hisoka/Chrollo hype was too damn high.

Day 7, Saturday 10:30 p.m. (less than 24 hours before the banquet)
- Meeting between one of the Cha-R family members and one of Luzurus's guards on the "upper level". The latter came through a hidden door (possibly the one Wang promised to show to Nobunaga).
- 8 (Cha-R family?) members were looking for Hisoka, but were all killed by someone.
- Phinks agrees to find and take out whoever killed them.
- Some discussion of Morena and what she and her people (the Heil-Ly family) are doing. Phinks and Nobunaga discussing the situation with members of the Cha-R family.
- Morena contacting the 4th Prince by phone.
- Theta still teaching Tserr. Nen. Teaching him the four principles. She wants him to use Zetsu for an hour.
- If she can keep this going, she says she'll be able to "do it" tomorrow.

Gotoh is one of the few people that truly cares about Killua and he's gone and Killua doesn't even know about it, it's quite messed up.
In the past two weeks, I've read the entire series so far.
I've actually been reading the weekly (well, sort of weekly) chapters in Jump since it came back from hiatus last year. I had no idea what was going on, but just read along and enjoyed the vibe even though I didn't know the background of it all. I'm so, so glad I finally went back and caught up. Absolutely one of the best action manga I've ever read. So damn addictive, I just had to jump to the next book each time I finished one. Glad I picked them all up in advance. What a ride.

I blame Illumi more for this. Hisoka only got involved in the family feud because Illumi asked him to, and we know that Illumi has no problems with killing butlers.
Isn't Killua also one of Hisoka's toys though? Illumi did have an influence but I do believe Killua's on Hisoka's fun time kill list as well.
Yeah but not yet! He even thinks about killing Illumi just to let Killua and Gon survive.
I honestly think Hisoka just wanted to see what Killua's growth has been like...granted Killua didn't do much actual fighting. I also don't think Hisoka could easily kill Illumi unless he just straight ambushed him.

Definitely, but my point was that Hisoka would have been looking for Chrollo or doing anything else if Illumi didn't brought him over. Illumi also instructed Hisoka to kill anybody that came in their way and that lead to Gotoh being killed.
Illumi: "Hisoka, just kill whomever gets in the way."
Hisoka: "Bitch do you remember who I am? Just the thought of it turns me on."
That's a fight Hisoka should have done before challenging Chrollo to be honest. I don't think Hisoka is going to want a 5 years older Killua given his progression rate.
