I think it was confirmed (or at least it is for Japan)

Preorders for the physical have been available at gamestop. Been hoping to see it elsewhere since it doesn't say exclusive but its been a while with it only on gamestop now.

PS: I can't fucking wait.

Hoping all of the original OST makes it in.

the announcement in the nintendo direct made me a ridiculous and embarrassing amount of excited, and it was leaked before so i kinda knew it was coming. this is one of my favorite games of all time, and one of the most special experiences i've had with any game. i hope the port is successful and we get WLK too.

Looks good. Was worried about the framerate after the first trailer.

Is this like Okami where maybe the framerate is tied to the gameplay and they can't change it without completely breaking the game?

and you're right, it would have been nice to have the second game too, but then i doubt they would sell that package for 30$. i hope WLK comes later.

it's not 40, i think that was the canadian price and people just thought it was 40 US dollars. the game is 30 bucks, physical and digital.

Is there some kind of legal thing where Katamari Forever can't be released on other platforms or is this simply Namco being ridiculous? I just don't understand that price for just the first game.

When it 'evolves' in size, it takes on a larger, simpler model with less polys and the frame rate evens back out.

Untrue, the frame rate doth indeed die to the fuck you levels once you hit the planetary/universe scale.

Takes me right back to the PS2 days. Very cool.
