Having Hopkins, Fuller, and Coutee is gonna drive me insane.

I'm trying to shop Fuller because that hammy worries me but yeah, I can't drop Coutee because I feel like he's too valuable also.

I don't even know if my squad can make a championship contending run but at least I'm not winless.

no one picked up clement or smallwood in my league

debating on dropping dion lewis for clement, but I don't feel good about it (I think lewis is the better talent, but the titans offense is hot garbage)

We are kind of at the point in the season where there isn't going to be an out-of-nowhere league winner this year (like Alvin Kamara was last year). At this point, it's better to be the guy who spends his FAAB than the guy who has $87 left the final week of the season.
It's like never using an Elixer in a JRPG and ending the game with 37 in your inventory

Sure, but there is "guy will get some points" and then there is "passing back in a 3 RB offense that has the budget, will, and past indication of trading for somebody. It's blowing almost all of your waiver flexibility on somebody who might revert back to nothing. At least with Mike Davis or even Alfred Blue - those guys have a shot at the job, already have taken a shot at a timeshare, and aren't at risk of being made irrelevant by trade. (Blue, of course, could be rendered irrelevant by Foreman, but that's why nobody is spending 5+ FAAB on him this week)

EDIT: Of the two, I may have spent a lot on Clement (for a chance to take the core job) or spent even ~20 on Smallwood if I needed something at RB beyond Buck Allen. But this isn't a situation where I think somebody wins and gives you the solid spot the rest of the season.

Smallwood went for $41 and I picked up Clement for $0. Pretty hilarious.

I'm really considering Gostkowski for Succop in one league. Gostkowski is legit as they come but isn't really having many fg opportunities this season.

Also dropped Succop in my other league for Greg the Leg. Really hope he plays this week but I think I can beat my opponent without a kicker.

Trying to pry Zeke away from the 0-5 team in my league. His only QB is Wentz and I have Rivers and Goff, so trying to package one of them alongside a good WR and seeing if I can get the steal.

Had to pick up a QB for Brees bye, Got Jameis Winston - dropped Seals-Jones since Engram was possibly going to play, would've been perfect.

Engram is now out and had to get a second TE again - picked up Hooper and dropped DJ Moore who I wanted to stash.. meh maybe he'll be there next week.

Wound up dropping Lutz for Zuerlin and hoping he's playing.

Bye weeks are the worst. The NFL should just take a one week break after week 8 and give every team off at once.

If anything, the NFL should add MORE bye weeks, not take them away. An 18 week/16 game season would probably help with injuries a lot, especially now that TNF is a every week thing that isn't going away

I don't disagree with that either, I'm just saying they should take a whole league break(s) rather than certain teams off in week 4 and others in week 11.

Realistically, a team should get a bye week going in to any Thursday Night Football game (which, yes, would mean we would have week 1 byes like we did in the late 90s/early 2000s before the Houston Texans existed), and a Bye coming out of any international travel game

Did the same thing

Brees > Winston

Got Cook but have Hooper as my TE in the other league with Greg Olsen on the bench

Dropped Succop for Greg the Leg but it looks like hes not playing

I'm going against an 0-5 team so hopefully I can win without a kicker. If I'm losing on Monday, I'm going to have to trade for Crosby or Gould lol.

Should I drop Amari Cooper for Josh Gordon? I feel like the upside is higher with Brady throwing to him, and Cooper's been really inconsistent thus far.

That's really dumb. He'll be putting up points eventually (hopefully) when it actually matters. This is why you get handcuffs for players who are crazy injury prone. It's not like Fournette's injury history was some big secret.

Tossed J Charles from my eternally rotating bench spot of "throw crap on the wall and see if it sticks" and picked up J Winston be because nobody else felt he'd be useful? Now I suddenly have 3 QBs. Wentz, Mayweather, Winston.

What the heck. I'll start Winston with his match-up. Kanyeshrug.gif

Just drop Mayfield. Ironicially, we have the same QBs - Wentz and Winston. I'm starting Winston this weekend too.

Elliot's been awesome, but now Freeman is hurt again and likely isn't playing this week. That means I have to start an injured Lamar Miller, Marlon Mack, or Ronald Jones. I still believe in Mack, so I think I'm gonna roll with him, but damn

Then, at WR I don't know if I can start Brandin Cooks over Sterling Shepard this week. If Cooks is ruled out, I'd have no one else to sub in at WR3 because Golladay is on bye

You should start Sheppard- he's playing TONIGHT, so you can't afford to wait and see if Cooks is playing

Don't start Aaron Jones unless you have nothing else until he proves it. Dude is talented but I'm in a wait and see process with him until they are willing to give him the ball more often.

I'm going to roll with Diggs, Thielen and Robert Woods for WR1/2 and FLEX. Anyone want to make the case for starting Edelman this week instead of one of these guys?

How bad is this season for TE that the best guy left on the wire is Uzomah? Insanity!

Would you guys take Robert Woods for Dalvin cook? Cook will finally get to play healthy but I'm still quite worried about what his production will be on that team
