I don't have a problem with stamina in the game now, but the limit of six Getherwings is pretty bad.

It's basically just enough to do almost no content, since no one lives life in six hour increments.

Use that feedback button!

To be slightly more accurate: It's every 10 pulls, single pulls count toward this increase as well. You don't need to do a 10 pull to increase the chances of a 5* appearing in future rolls.

This increment 5* % chance will also reset back to the base rate every time the banner changes.

How does the light/dark relationship work? Does a dark character take double damage from light enemies? Normal? Half?

This.

I like to imagine the feedback on the Gold Medal acquisition that I submitted the first day along with others made them do the change. Hopefully many are doing the same with Getherwings.

My parties have been pretty good at focusing on the tail from the start of the fight. The harder part is focusing on one claw after.
Eh, tail is priority, but after that, attack whatever hand is close to you. As long as they're both killed before the fight ends, that's all that matters.

The main issue I'm having with EX battles is that people seem to only want to kill one of the Magma Spots, which causes one of the following to happen:
  1. Everyone is waiting in a corner, and then the boss does his dash move, wiping us
  2. AI-controlled characters are in the blast radius of the remaining Magma Spots, killing them and making it impossible to do enough damage in the time limit

Is there anyway you can see what buffs are on your character? Sometimes me dude is glowing and I dunno what for.

Also how long do I have to get this water girl's friendship up? I'm a little under halfway

Got some good teams on Expert raids, but hilariously bad ones on Jupiter farming lol.

AI characters continues to be a nuisance rather than help. I'm pretty sure I can solo Jupiter but my team keeps dying, forcing me to play co-op.

Glowing generally means you can transform. You can see the active buffs next to your character portrait.

I've just been doing constant raids and getting 20 friendship points for winning each raid (she's also in my party).

Mana! Really hope they have some event or endeavors coming soon that dish out lots of Mana.

Maybe they can make it so you can refund all the nodes minus the story ones from a character. I've spread myself a little thin because of this raid, and have a few units that I would love to get the mana spent back.

Yeah, I don't see how I'm going to raise teams for the Advanced Dragon trials with the current Mana output rate.

I just went ahead and changed my Nintendo Account region from Canada to the US to link it. I figured I've already spent several hours playing this game, the idea of me potentially losing everything due to a bricked phone/data corruption was too worrying and I was stressing myself way too much over it. From what I read, when the game is released here I just change the region from the US back to Canada, and the region in-game should automatically switch over. We'll see.

Nice to have it protected now, at least.

Great, hit the mana bottleneck
Worst part about the mana bottleneck is when I DO manage to save up like 10k mana, I'm torn between wanting to unlock like half of a lower tier MC on one of my secondary characters to broaden my usable units, or ONE node for my main... It really sucks.

(edit: also some of the last MC nodes require 30k+ mana, just for a single node)

I've pretty much put a good amount of my resources into leveling up Lily and Poseidon just for this event.

Got the welcome pack for the guaranteed 5-star and got Mikoto.

I've been trying to get a good team together for all the elements, and I needed a fire character, so pretty happy with that. Also, haven't used a katana character yet, had enough to fully unbind a 4-star katana and get it to level 52, so starting him off right. =)

My light element team is weakest right now, but I don't want to do any more pulls until the banner change.

Probably just gonna board the diamantium for now, not sure what I'd spend it on anyway.

Yeah this is usually my problem as well, no one seems to go for a second magma spot to make the AOE more manageable.

Do you have a Switch? Does switching countries screw around anything there?

I do have a Switch. It'll get rid of any balance you have in your account (it was $0.00 for me anyway), and change the shop region to whatever you have set in your Nintendo Account (so it's the US right now). I don't purchase much digitally so it's not a big issue for me, and I do suspect the game will be released here in Canada within the next few months so I'll be able to change it back to Canada then (where, in theory, the region in-game for Dragalia Lost will then switch over to Canada, as your Nintendo Account handles all things region-related). When you change regions, you do need to log back into your Nintendo Account on your Switch (or any other Nintendo mobile titles you play) to re-verify everything and you're set.

I'm not sure how this got through testing in harder modes. If they can't get the AI right at least reduce the damage the characters take under AI by like 25% or have character with leader abilities that benefit the whole party to pick up the AIs slack.

Do you know if changing regions has any effect of any of other Nintendo mobile games? Like FEH for example.

It'll change your region in those as well (to whatever you have it set to in your Nintendo Account), but other than that everything is the same. Purchases are still in your local currency and such, as that's dictated by your Apple/Android account. You just need to log in again when you launch the game to re-verify.

I haven't tried Pokemon GO/Pocket Camp/etc., but I assume they're all the same.

The dying in multiplayer mechanic is dumb as hell. Because you don't get all or even half the goodies in high tier content and lose the stamina if you stick around it encourages jackass moves like the host shutting the game down if they die even if the boss has hardly any health left.

They deliberately gimped the AI. It's pretty obvious they fully intend on mandatory coop for harder quests (despite the fact that the getherwing mechanic actively works against this).

Not only is the AI incompetent at positioning, they're also programmed to attack a maximum of three times every ten seconds. It's crazy. It's literally impossible to pass the harder DPS checks with AI companions because they're just that stupid and weak.

I want to try out Jurota in my party instead of Verica since I saw some people saying not to use a healer at all (which... no, I don't really buy that because few randos play ideally, but...).

I was prepping him for the raid before I got Celliera, so it wasn't too hard of an experiment. He's using Celliera's old 3* T3 katana, and a Mercury I realized I had the ability to trade in for and I quickly leveled with the weaker fruits I had tons of. But the first time I tried, I immediately had to quit because I simultaneously walked in on my cat being sick (sorry other players...), and this second time just now we just all died horribly. In my case, the boss suddenly teleported and did an attack, so that's my excuse at least and not the lack of a healer... But after one more try I'm probably going back, without much of a loss beyond a few exp materials.

If this event gave us Dragon, Adventurer and WP, will other event give out weapons too?

Maybe. They seem to copy a lot of what they do in GBF and in GBF they do give weapons out during events. I'm not exactly sure they'll do that here because you need a lot more weapons than you do in this game. So they'd be giving a lot of power away every event if they did that.

Are they planning to release new characters every week?

They haven't released any kind of content schedule so your guess is good as any. They probably won't release any new banners until their halloween stuff goes up.

This basically makes fighting anything with a sheild at high levels impossible with AI team members.

This reminds me of arcade game BS.

We know the current banner doesn't end till the 17th, at least.

In any case: the Jurota experiment went ok, in that the next 2 Special attempts were successes. But the first was so good that only one character died on any team (and mine was one of the full ones, I should say), and the second had us all almost fully wiped with the win at the very last second, so... hard to judge! He did survive much longer than Verica without babysitting... but I can't say if her healing would have helped more in some cases.

Still, maybe survivability while I can do more damage due to focusing on attacking is best, so I'll be using him more going forward (though not pushing his mana beyond the second circle I had already completed last week). Don't have any regrets about using Verica all this time, though, since most of my Special attempts were successes to begin with. And replacing him with her for most of this time was the only way I ended up with two good katanas such that I could do this at all. If anything, it's just nice to know my prior prep of him paid off long term, hah.

Since the current event last around 10 days, I'd say we'll get new event/character around end of the current event.
Many JP gacha games use similar schedule where update is around 3 times/month.

Thanks for the offers earlier. I finally passed it this morning, however during lunch teammates have been really poor. 4K non-water the lot of them. I'm only able to win one every third try with parties like that. I had told myself to not NG people, but it wastes so much of my time.

No, the raid event ends on the 15th. If you go to "Showcase Info" in the Summon tab, you'll see that the banner ends on the 17th.

(this is 2 AM Eastern on that day, in each case)

It also forces me to always play as a healer in higher difficulties because AI healers will never fill their gauge fast enough to be reliable.

Yeah, that's the other reason I can't regret using Verica.

Getting her in a good place to use as a healer against most non-water fights is not at all a waste of time, barring pulling someone amazing, I guess...

Ideal strat for informed players is to destroy 2 of the volcanos but no more than, this is especially the case in Special. Come play with Era players. We know what we're doing.

I'm hoping there will be some overlaps in banner timing, so next banner will come before the current one ends.

Is there any benefit to unbinding dragons outside of increasing their level cap? I kept getting Juggernaut on the last banner, one 10 summon session literally had 3 of them so I can fully unbind now.

The only thing I'm thinking is that I'm gonna need dozens of fruits to fully cap.

I think there should be a curtesy rule. If you join a raid, and are are under what you should be in strength, if you get knocked out first, you should pay for the resurrection rather than retire. So tired of those players wasting everyone's time.

Hopefully for an preview for the next update in the next couple of days. Very excited to see some new character designs and what other kinds of events they have planned for the game.

I kinda hope that they dont do the thing alot of Gacha games do where they have existing characters get a holiday counterpart, and instead make original characters for the different seasons, or maybe even do holiday costumes. FEH has like 5 Ikes, Hectors, Marths, Lucinas.... who likes that stuff?
