Yankees and Red Sox are going to tear through each other and Houston is going to be well-rested. It would be extremely impressive if either NY or Boston could take them down in the ALCS.

out of boredom I started watching.
right as I turned on there was a benintendi bomb, and then aaron Hicks just made a no look world record superman diving catch at the wall.

If Eovaldi gets to the 7th without allowing a run I'll eat my shoe, happily.

Aaron Hicks just broke the shutout.

Indians were never going to win with their bullpen. Getting 1 hit total from 3-4-5 doesn't help, though.

Lindor was the only one trying this entire series. Feel bad for him. Ramirez, Encarnacion, Donaldson all sucked something awful. I see Alonso and Cabrera got benched today, too little too late.

And I love Tito but why pitch Bauer in 3 straight games out of the pen? Hand or, hell even Allen, should have been called in today to protect the lead.

Didn't have huge hopes coming into this series but damn what a failure of a season this turned out to be. Won the division by default but got handled by everyone else.

watching miller struggle in the playoffs really makes me appreciate the fact that the cubs were able to win their world series when they got there. it doesn't matter how good you look for the future, you just never know when you'll get back there. that's what makes the mlb playoffs so cruel and so rewarding.

If the Brewers managed to win it all the talking point would almost certainly be "How did the Astros/Sox/Yankees" lose this series? And then 2019 would be all about how the Cubs are the favorite to win the NL Central.

the cubs will be favorites in the central next year regardless, especially after they get harper

It'll be very glorious to know that The Cleve got swept twice in the postseason in the same calendar year.

Astros looks like the most complete team right now. Anything can happen I guess, but I don't really see the Sox or Yanks beating them in a 7-game series.

this reminds me of the regular season game where the astros batted around 2 times in back to back innings against the Indians in cleveland.
