I really hope Counsell realizes that Ryan Braun shouldn't be batting in the 3-hole going into the NLCS. The guy is the worst possible protection for Yelich, the moment Braun sees anyone on base lately he's swinging at everything even remotely close to the plate.

11 game win streak, the NL MVP in the lineup, and a clean sweep in the NLDS. Brewers are the team the Dodgers or Braves don't want to play.
I still find it disgusting that the brewers had the best record in the NL and couldn't get the prime time slot for game 1 or 3 :/

red sox having the prime time slot in general makes sense since they had the best record in baseball.

So do the Astros think Cleveland is stealing signs or something? They're running through catcher signs as though there were runners on base when no one was on base.

wisconsin sports teams aside from the Packers generally get disrespected at every opportunity. Even today on ESPN and MLB.com there's barely any talk of the Brewers despite them being the first team to advance to a CS

I've never been a big fan of these weekday games in the playoffs

I thought that the Dodgers fans got unfairly criticized for not selling out their wild card game against Colorado last week when it took place early on a weekday

I feel like they're starting to grow on the Bucks tho thanks to Giannis. Brewers basically have to win it all to get respect tho.

If the Brewers managed to win it all the talking point would almost certainly be "How did the Astros/Sox/Yankees" lose this series? And then 2019 would be all about how the Cubs are the favorite to win the NL Central.

They don't base primetime games on record. They base it on ratings. And I guess they saw that Rockies/Brewers was not gonna be a ratings thriller.

I know what they base it off of. it's still disgusting and should be based off records. The best teams should be the ones featured in the prime time, not just the favorites, give the lesser known teams a chance to shine and have people discover they are a fun team to watch, not just push the same old crap they always do :/

I agree with this. Giving lesser known teams a chance to shine in prime time is better for the sport - especially when they've earned it.

But that's never going to happen when Yanks/Sox can just brute force its way to decent ratings
