It's gonna sell like hotcakes and be returned even quicker.
This game is a month out. These videos are taken under perfect conditions set by Bethesda themselves. I ain't gonna get much better than this.
People said the exact same thing about the Burn Cards in Titanfall... which years later are still only earned by playing. So there's that.
Yup, that's the crazy part. Game is out in a month, and these are the fake, ideal conditions that players are already skeptical of. It may get better with patches down the line, but not by launch.
You might be the only one in this entire thread that thinks so.
Why can't they just go full mmo? No NPCs in an online rpg is not a good move. The footages don't help either.
Oh this is Assassin's Creed Brotherhood. That could be a fun mode!

Man I REALLY wish this was they went their normal single player route for this game. Even if it was just more of the same from F4 because this setting is so awesome and I really want to explore it.
I wanted to give this the benefit of the doubt after that nuke video was posted an hour ago but wow man. This looks way worse than I was expecting. Like, if I still had it preordered, I'd probably cancel it right now. That looked real bad. Boring shooting gameplay, terrible frame rate and the graphics look like base 360 Skyrim.

Playing through fallout 4 atm and liking it a lot, this looks like more of that but with more colour.
In the Gamespot impressions vid they discussed this (https://youtu.be/2z6c-sCT4M8?t=354). They said that you could break away and just play on your own and it was like playing through a more-empty fo4. However, without the overarching narrative or any human npcs, I'm not sure that's going to match up with the solo game in fo4. I'm solo-only so I'm going to wait and see tbh.
Because this reeks of just getting that team that were on the game that was cancelled (the team shooter thing?) and just slapping them with a project so they don't have to let them go. Making them do it really quickly and calling it a day.
Likewise. I'm excited about playing this, and to mess with the new perks system to see what kind of combinations you can run with.

Yep. What I expected and what I am getting. A lot of the stuff from the impressions are exciting. Massive amount of lore around the world and the opt in PvP radio station metagame.
The way they handle quests is terrible.
Read a note -> a quest is added
Visit a loction -> a quest is added
Listen to a holotape ->a quest is added
Then you just follow the quest marker and you're done.

I watched the hardcore gamer preview. The game looks like what I expected it to look like. The Beta will go a long way in determining if we buy it. MP Fallout still have me intrigued, just not sure Bethesda can pull it off
This doesn't look good at all, and that's coming from someone who pre ordered Fallout 4 and played it day one....

Just the word "Bethesda" in a thread title draws the Hate-Boner Patrol like bees to honey.
It's like clockwork, honestly.
I hate saying this because I normally roll my eyes at this sort of comment, but quite a bit of the footage honestly looks last gen, especially the lighting. One of the clips in Gamespot's video looks like when Valve introduced a bug to HL2 that caused Nova Prospekt to be super bright.
You can't buy them. The system is like that so you can easily swap skills to fit into different player teams.
