My Tight End situation has been just that dire (as further reinforced by the 0 points I got out of Seals-Jones in a cake matchup this week)... and it's not like my kickers have been helping me win matchups regardless.
I did leave room to grab a late-game kicker and throw them into my lineup if the rest of my guys were able to keep the matchup close but it was not to be. Can't make up 26 points with a kicker when Gano leads the league for the week with a mere 15.

If I somehow manage to make the money for the 7th time in 8 tries, my mind will literally be blown.
This is trending much like the 2015 season for me where I also started out of the gates at 2-3 with the 2nd most points scored against me in the league during that opening stretch. And despite that I still managed to come one victory away from making the playoffs.
Just like then I'll continue to fight for whatever scraps I can muster right until the bitter end.

(For what it's worth, I'd shy away from trading with a guy who has won 13 out of his past 14 matchups if he sounded impertinent about acknowledging his trade offers, too. Minx is doing just fine.)
He offered me garbage for trades as well, very entitled too when you reject them so you saved yourself some pointless back and forth banter.
Didn't think they were worth dignifying with a response, but here it goes:
When you offer me an RB3 who has no value to you, would be a bye-week fill in for me, and who isn't even the best RB on his team, for a WR2 with a good floor on an offense that is coming into its own, and who would be an immediate starter for you, I can't help but laugh.
And then to top it off you throw in a boom/bust WR3 with that RB3 and expect that to be good enough for a low-end WR1 on an offense that is absolutely dominating right now? Nah, not going to happen. I think I'm evaluating my roster and yours just fine.
We obviously do not see things the same way, that's fine. Right now you have an absolute beast of a lineup, and I don't want any part of making it better.
RB3? I guess an RB in the top 20 in our league is an RB3, and he has also outscored the other RB on his team. Plus you are one injury at RB away from being fucked and he has outscored your 2nd best RB numerous times. His value to me is irrelevant, it's the value he gives to you. Which just goes to show precisely how little you know about how trades work. Oh and your "WR2" isn't even in the top 50 and is also a "bye week fill in". If you don't like the offer then reject it stating why you don't like it or counter with one that makes more sense to you. Letting trades sit there (which this league has a history of doing) is probably the most annoying thing possible an owner can do besides simply not setting their lineup.
In summary to call it a laughable trade offer is well.... Laughable.
At the end of the day we disagree on certain values of players and I like shit talking, but please just reject the trade and tell me why you don't like it next time.
Says the guy who hasn't won a game yet and values his players so high because you drafted them high.... And is carrying two kickers.

Time to see whether the Commish can cruise to a pristine 6-0 record despite having scored the 9th highest point total in the league this season. He's projected to topple Corran Horn's Smokin' Jays right now. Curious to see how long this streak can last. Just to provide a sneak peek to Weeks 7 and 8... Minx's TD's N' Beer (4-1) and Crazymoogle's Bail Kings Era (4-1) are on deck. Those happen to be the TOP two best scoring teams in the league.
If my Bears defense doesn't score 20 points against Osweiler I'll be very disappointed. Tempted to bench Stills but he is ripe for garbage time playing from behind all day.

The Bears offense simply has no use for the guy. It's quite unfortunate. Their offense is built completely inverse to his skill set.
I'm continuing to build my Points Allowed lead against the entire league. Just padding that buffer thanks to NYR's cake matchup this week.
You could very well still pull this out. Especially if this is the week McCarthy wakes up and feeds Jones more.
Should've been a penalty against the Steelers on that play as well.

I would have offered you quite a bit last week but as a Bears fan, he just isn't being used in the right ways as Cohen has been all over the place. He used to be such a reliable workhorse too. You can still offer him to me if you want. I thought I made offers for him last week but that may have been in another league.
It's tough to portray over text but in no way am I ever fuming or mad. I do get annoyed when people don't check their trades or manage their team. That's about it. It's all in good fun here.
