I'll take it!
11 game win streak, the NL MVP in the lineup, and a clean sweep in the NLDS. Brewers are the team the Dodgers or Braves don't want to play.Ahh yes Brewers are NLCS bound but the NLCS is gonna be a lot tougher especially if it's the Dodgers.
Yup that's just how I remember him when he called Brewers games back then.I forgot Jim Powell works for the Braves now. The guy still sounds eerily like a young Bob Uecker
I still find it disgusting that the brewers had the best record in the NL and couldn't get the prime time slot for game 1 or 3 :/11 game win streak, the NL MVP in the lineup, and a clean sweep in the NLDS. Brewers are the team the Dodgers or Braves don't want to play.
Don't forget Dodgers did put a 21 spot on the Brewers this year11 game win streak, the NL MVP in the lineup, and a clean sweep in the NLDS. Brewers are the team the Dodgers or Braves don't want to play.
So do the Astros think Cleveland is stealing signs or something? They're running through catcher signs as though there were runners on base when no one was on base.
Verlander has accused us of stealing signs before when we have smoked him in the past.
wisconsin sports teams aside from the Packers generally get disrespected at every opportunity. Even today on ESPN and MLB.com there's barely any talk of the Brewers despite them being the first team to advance to a CSI still find it disgusting that the brewers had the best record in the NL and couldn't get the prime time slot for game 1 or 3 :/
red sox having the prime time slot in general makes sense since they had the best record in baseball.
I feel like they're starting to grow on the Bucks tho thanks to Giannis. Brewers basically have to win it all to get respect tho.wisconsin sports teams aside from the Packers generally get disrespected at every opportunity. If the Brewers managed to win it all the talking point would almost certainly be "How did the Astros/Sox/Yankees" lose this series? And then 2019 would be all about how the Cubs are the favorite to win the NL Central.I feel like they're starting to grow on the Bucks tho thanks to Giannis. I know what they base it off of. it's still disgusting and should be based off records. The best teams should be the ones featured in the prime time, not just the favorites, give the lesser known teams a chance to shine and have people discover they are a fun team to watch, not just push the same old crap they always do :/They don't base primetime games on record. They base it on ratings. And I guess they saw that Rockies/Brewers was not gonna be a ratings thriller.
I agree with this. Giving lesser known teams a chance to shine in prime time is better for the sport - especially when they've earned it.I know what they base it off of. it's still disgusting and should be based off records. Doesn't make it not disgusting :PYep exactly. If it was Cubs Brewers there would have been at least 1 primetime game.
Its all about ratings.
Yes they were. No one on and Maldonado was going through 3 signs at home. The Astros weren't doing this in Houston though, were they? So they think there's some dude in center field or something reflecting the signs to the Indians hitters? Slowing the game down so much and it all seems like nonsense.
Nah son, it's over tomorrow. Braves used up most of their bullpen today and look how the Dodgers were close.
Tall4Life your boys are on!Out of boredom I set up a THE SHOW stream in CPU v CPU broadcast mode and am live streaming the Sox/Yankees.

For the record, I did game 1 and 2 and the outcomes were both correct. Scores off a bit (3-1 and 6-1) but close enough.
