Forza Horizon 4 |OT| Seasoned to Perfection

Just like some other people here, I can only find 530 out of 531 roads, even though the achievement already unlocked at 529. I managed to get the Showoff daily, so it appears that those Forzathon challenges really need to be done in a single day.
At one point this happened.
I was confused at first, but apparently a skill song started playing on the Hospital Records station right before I switched to Timeless FM. It made me chuckle thinking it was some sort of marketing deal.
Oh, and I finally got a replacement for my yellow wellies.

My girlfriend's drivatar occasionally appears on the podium. As far as I can tell, it's wearing the same clothes that she picked for it.
You don't have to use the Bond car. It's a Street Race event, so just like one-off Street Races, you will drive a car that you're currently in, with no way to change it once the event starts. Use whatever you prefer.
Yes, that's really annoying, I wish that they would finally change that. It would require a lot of rethinking of how the races work, and how to make for challenging opponents that don't start with an advantage, but I believe that it would ultimately result in far better games.

Thanks, I was just doing a bunch of races, but nobody I knew from here got into Top3. Good that's cleared up.
I'd like to know how Adventure made it all the way to release without them thinking to add a Quit button at any point. Right now you can only force close the game on a load screen or ragequit during a race.

How long does the ban last for leaving a ranked adventure early? I had to leave one 3 or so days ago and tried to play today and it says I'm still banned :/

It's very, very similar to FH3. The result is it lacks the 'wow' factor for me that FH3 had. I also preferred Australia in FH3 to Britain in FH4.

Once it ends you are kicked from the adventure, unlike the unranked one.
Could someone tell me what are the equivalents of these places in real life – Broadway Windmill, Whitewater Falls, Mortimer Gardens and Moorhead Wind Farm? I typed that in Google but I haven't got same as in the game.
Broadway Windmill is the Chesterton Wind Mill in Chesterton, Warwickshire not far from Leamington Spa, it's about 20 miles from me and I'm thinking of going soon :D
He is easily the most dedicated Forza Horizon yotuuber around lol. He's also an amazing driver, love his content.

Yeah I love the game but I'm just not liking the map as much as Australia. Just not varied enough.
Easily this map is the best on series. Even better than glorious Colorado.
Loving the gameplay thus far.
BUT, god allmighty I fucking hate every bit of dialog in this game. It's basically everyone and their mothers condescendingly praising how amazingly awesome you are, nevermind the hundred tries and endless rewinds you used to win.

I really wish that the game automatically joined together club members in the same live session. How else are you supposed to play with club members?
I have done more than three "show off" skills but it is only showing up 2/3 now, yesterday it was showing up 2/3 then this morning it was showing 1/3 and now it is back to 2/3 and I have done a couple of "show off" skills in some races just now and it is not updating.
There were issues in Forza Motorsport 7 with the #Forzathon events and now they are in this game as well, what is going on, they used to work fine before Forza Motorsport 7.
There is no point in having a short amount of time to complete events when the game cannot record accurately when they have been achieved.

Horizon 1 has a stretch of tarmac in the 'Red Rock' region that remains the best road in the series, but other than that, I completely agree.
I felt like the maps in FH2 and 3 lost some of the diversity and charm of the first game's, but that's been reclaimed, (and then some), here in the UK.
game is starting to feel like a grind now that I've done all the championships and an about level 7 in the major races. I want to get to level 10 to try out the special races but I feel like I'm grinding levels right now since there is no more advancing seasons (I actually thought that was a brilliant sense of progression in prologue as they should keep you progressing to different seasons to unlock more championships in each season). Now after 25 hours, all showcases done, I don't feel anything driving me instead of filling up the leveling bars. I remember not liking progression in FH3 but I may need to go back and play it again.
By the way, how do you even get the gold wrist band the one lady was talking about?
Edit: This sounds negative, but this game also has some of the most fun and varied gameplay in any racing game ever. Trouble is the structure around it

I have great hope for PGs Fable reboot EXCEPT for a core tennant of RPGs being... dialogue and character models and voice acting and storytelling.
It isn't like they've really had to try and do that here. I wouldn't use FH as a basis of your opinions on whether PG are capable of creating those things.
Winter looks amazing, I love driving in it, cause it just feels so cozy being a nice offroad Jeep tearing through the snow. Also, the map is waaaaay better than Horizon 3, driving on elevated ridges in the snow is just so good.
BOGUS things that I want in the future:
-snow to actually pile up and melt off the hot parts of a vehicle
-better terrain deformation
-dynamic season change over say a seven day period
I hope the souped up CPUs of the next console can allow these simulation type things to happen. Loving the game, nighttime HDR is just so good too, wish I could put on a VR headset and go into the world.

The Iron Knight (Truck) can be bought from the auto show. I won the limo from a wheelspin and I don't know if it's available in the autoshow at this point.

Glad to hear I'm not the only one having issues with Forzathon challenges. I now have a strict rule of finishing everything in a single session because I don't trust the game to save my progress between sessions. One thing I think I read somewhere is that if the game disconnects you from Horizon Life and you quit the game before reconnecting, you lose ALL your progress from the point you disconnected (events finished, levels, challenges, EVERYTHING), which would explain the one time I lost a few driver levels, but tbh I'm not really sure if that actually happened or not and would just as easily believe it was a random unrelated glitch.
I'm also seeing issues with getting tunes and livery designs from the servers occasionally. Tried to get a Sunbeam Talbot tune for the classic rally seasonal event, only to be told the servers were dead. (P.S. I did finally manage that event on Unbeatable with the Stratos, some upgrades, and a fair amount of cheese, yikes.) Also tried uploading a livery design I imported from Horizon 3, no dice there either.

Nope, you can't. Personally I'd wish they'd open that up entirely again and then, additionally, to give more focus and divide the rivals userbase less, showcase a pre-upgraded(or stock) car for each track so it's actually about the driving (maybe allow a few setup/"tuning" options) and not about picking the best tool for the job by playing the PP system.
The stuff like the drift club or hypercar rental thing, where the leaderboards are really worth something, can't be accessed again without playing the event again and checking the leaderboard at the end. The also don't "dirty" the laps.
I was pretty happy with number 47 in the world that I got in the 10th rental event in the Senna, but will not find out were I'll land in the end.
That's been my experience as well. I did just notice moments ago that I had all files installed both on my external and internal which is really weird. So I deleted everything and reinstalled the entire game and did a hard reset. So far so good
I liked Colorado, but all it had were roads (tarmac, gravel, dirt - granted, it was a well put together road network), and nice scenery. As great as it was, it was more of an open-road game, not really open-world. FH2 finally letting you drive everywhere was huge for me.
So when it comes to the world, I think I like FH2 and FH4 equally (possibly because where I live is like a combination of those two locations), then FH1, and finally FH3, whose setting was also good, but something's got to be at the bottom, and in the end it just didn't do quite as much for me.

I am beginning to wonder if something happened on the back-end of the entire Forza system towards the end of Forza Horizon 3 when there were #Forzathon issues seeping into games, it then got worse in Forza Motorsport 7 where your #Forzathon progress wouldn't record, and now there are issues in Forza Horizon 4 along the same lines, something has happened somewhere I am sure of it.
I am having real trouble getting into online and co-op games, I have lost count of the times I have tried to join an event or race and the event/race never goes ahead because only 11/12 people were available, this game must surely be the most played game currently on Xbox and there are not enough resources to get twelve people in a game, trying to find a ranked game is a joke it really is and when you actually manage to get into a game people often disappear, some of this will be on the players end with their connection but that must be no more than 50% of the time I cannot imagine it being that high, but it could be possible, this means that the Forza back-end servers are causing the disconnections.
Playground need to sort these issues out, I think they should freeze the seasons keeping Autumn until they have fixed these issues, once people start missing out on items that can only be obtained once for a specific event, people will get angry, the game is fine it is just a different setting to Horizon 3, more like an expansion, I was very disappointed with Motorsport 7 though, I think they need to leave it a while before the next Forza game.
So far the biggest amount of racers in one session has been about 30 or so, not even close to max players, how come? I'm sure tons of people are playing it.
Also I wish others players wouldn't look transparent. It's fine that they are ghosts when you drive through them, great actually, but I would have loved to actually see the full cars.
