I can't for the life of me understand why Tech would attempt a 50+ yard FG down 15 in the 4th quarter
They beat an undefeated Duke team last week.
Also they're one of the youngest teams in the country and their starting QB is out for the year, along with their best pass rusher who was dismissed two weeks ago, and their best player in the secondary (a true sophomore) was also out for the game. It was an absolute miracle that they were even in this game at all.
Theres probably more people in that stadium watching it live than on TV, and thats saying something

Just saw the Kentucky highlights. That field goal doinking off the post is such a Kentucky thing to happen.
Yep, and second one this year after Malek Young. Richards is just made of glass, hopefully he can move on from this and is not too injured to live a normal life.

Fitzgerald is a great player and Sweat is a beast, but Auburn has no identity on offense.
Auburn is in the every other year phase where they regress. I wouldn't draw a ton of conclusions from beating them this year. Their defense keeps them in games but their offense is just bad.

Weekday games start this week, and Tuesday actually has a good one, so the week 7 OT will be up likely sometime tomorrow.
Really irritates me that Etienne of Clemson isn't in the Heisman talks. Only one player in the Nation with more rushing yards than him him with less carries. He also splits carries with 2-3 other running backs.

Well... considering the way they let Miss St's QB continue to run the ball up and down the field I'd say they played pretty bad. I have no idea how they didn't shut that down after a while... boggles the mind.
Auburn's a 3 loss team this year. Miss St still going to lose at least 4 games, per my preseason predictions.

Bama gonna win by 35. It's in T-town and Fitzgerald is a mess of a QB, Bama can play 8-9 in the Box to limit them a ton. I would not take too much from beating Auburn this year.

Their defense has been awful for a lot longer than one game. Texas is probably the straw that broke the camel's back, though.
Just saw their defensive stats, maybe they were right in firing but really odd to fire a co ordinator in the middle of a season.
