I think it's just RNG, you can stop him from doing that by breaking one of his legs and mini-stunning him though. I only had that before today, but the expert runs I did today had enough DPS to skip this.

Finally hit 8.2k Might today so tried out the Expert Onslaught. Oh god, you definitely need a healer. Managed to no death it since we had a good crew, but the fire onslaught stuns are really annoying.
Anyone know why this doesn't appear on the play store for me? When I go to the url in my PC browser it says "not compatible with your device: Pixel 2XL". What's the deal?

Yeah, I got one lance to elemental level 20 (roughly same might as level 40 t2) for the water attack and stopped. Fully unbinding seems like a nightmare to me.
Possibly hosting vs joining had different increases maybe?
I've been going pretty much all stam/wings into event so I'm at a mix of both.
Hahaha I actually went the other way around; originally used the party portraits, then discovered that tapping the picture cycles and use it since it's much closer and easier to do in a pinch.

Most awesome feeling ever. Hosted a expert raid room and levelled up from the first mission. went from full AP to zero without having to remake the room, just success after success. Had to carry a few 6K peeps with water teams, but somehow didn't get any 4K people joining.
I just got to 8.5k hopefully I can get to 9k soon! Now to realize this investment will all be worth nothing in a few days :D
What's the best way to farm 2* weapons? I've minmaxed everything I'm willing to sacrifice to make it to 7k might, and I'm barely 6.5. The only option remained to me are the 2T 3* weapons.
My party has 4 event cards, 2 healers (all water obv.) and I think I could outperform 8k rainbow teams easily, but in most expert rooms I enter I'm welcomed with "nope" sticker and rooms disbanded... That's doesn't seem fair to me :/

I can confirm even if you never use any wyrmite, you can still beat the expert raids with just story/event-given stuff as soon as you hit 7K Might. Even managed to get the "only 2 deaths" achievement on the last run I did.
Guess I'll ALSO see how many gold emblems I can get on this alt when my main's out of stamina XD
I was at 6K when this event began on my alt. I farmed Standard raids/event bosses and just did the Avenue of Power/Fortune normal dailies until I was 7K Might. You get A LOT of of 2* weapons from Blazon pulls. My general rhythm was to do Expert event boss with getherwings, then host Standard raid battles in order to get the bonus hosting loot. It takes a little longer, but if you say yes to keeping the players at the end you'll immediately be put into a lobby again, which makes the downtime shorter generally.
I was able to hit 7K Might with non-fully unbounded 3* tier 2 weapons, have you made sure to upgrade everything possible? There's six ways to increase Might: character level, mana circles, weapons, dragon level, wyrmprint level, and dragon bond level. Here's a snapshot of what my 7K alt account has, along with the dragon bond levels:
Just doing Standard raids and expert boss battles will net you a lot of resources for upgrading.

I've had such terrible luck with hostingExpert runs this morning, ugh... Lots of decent might teams that actually have non-water units, or no healers, etc. I might host a few Standards now as you suggest Numberfox; that's a solid suggestion and will get me stuff compared to wasting an hour losing after people finally join the the room repeatedly, so thank you for that!

Blazion summons give you tons of fodder weapons.
Are you doing mana circles? That's the thing that pushed me over a bit since I hadn't considered them enough; similarly just dumping exp into the characters at all might push you up some.

How often are you guys swapping party members during quests / boss battles? I never have, but hypothetically would I be able to pop multiple special moves / transformations back to back by swapping, or is the lead character the only one charging at any given time?
I swap to my healer, use it, then swap back to an actual water character. Cool down is shared between characters so cant really use spam ougis like that.
Got it, thanks. Do you resist using your leader's special so you can hold on to that heal when you need it?
I'm having trouble finding groups in general, but I do find Onslaught expert to have the roughest waits. I imagine part of it is limited getherwings being split between raid and standard content.
They really need to fix stamina/wings refresh ratio problem.
Or at least make it you can queue to assist using stamina. I think that will solve most of the problem.
Only for dragon transforms. I have Phoenix on Elly, so that Lily can use an water dragon for more attack power. so I swap to Elly when I need a heal and then swap back
Felt up for doing 1 wyrmite 10-roll this banner and... got entirely dupes among the 4*. Though one of them was another Poli'ahu, so I guess I now need to dump some exp into that even if it's wasted long-term so Orsem will have the type bonus (even at level 1 his stats are better than using my leveled Juggernaut), so that's actually a pretty good result. (EDIT: Yup at level 20 or so and it's not only a +131/86 HP/strength boost, but also +30 might now; I guess I'll hit 30 on this Poli too and then just unbind after the event, cause it's not like that much dragon exp is too much of a concern long term, that roll actually turned out pretty excellently.)

Special moves do charge normally for them, though. It's just that the AI can be bad about 1. getting hits to charge them and 2. actually using the skills at good times, so it can be worth checking in on them now and then, especially if you have a healer.

Just had a fantastic expert raid where the boss glitched and didn't move the entire time. Managed to get some pretty high combos going, lol.
It's actually the second or third time it's happened for me. One time the rest of my party disconnected and I was switched to solo, but the boss didn't move at all. So I ended up having 15 AI characters just wailing on an immobile boss. I dunno how many other people have managed to beat the expert raid solo!

Thanks, I started to farm the standard raid, let's see how it goes. I've already 3 of 4 characters at 3rd mana circle, and I'm simply short of blue orbs/scales. Maybe the blazion pulls will help for that too?
This is my water team btw:
I cleared with two 7000 and two 6000, so it's probably more about water teams than anything else. The fight was very close, though, so I'm gonna try to get a bit more might before continuing on. Besides, I only got 10 silver emblems for it, not a single gold.
So what's the best way to farm mana? This video I watched said to do Avenue of Fortune until the rare monster spawns and to retreat if it doesn't. Except all the rare monsters haven't been the ones that give mana so far, so I don't know if they changed it or what.
I think they changed it today because o started getting gold. Haven't actually failed despite being a bit low.
Celliera is the best.
She has innate 25% bonus damage to the boss.
Max unbinded a 4* wand tier 2 wand to prep for 4* tier 3 elemental. Realise I need 50 water medals from Onslaught -> I need to level up a wind char. And the Halidom upgrade needs 100K gold. I also still need to squeeze out 30 facility levels. Hopefully I can finish before the raid ends
You should be able to farm some orbs tomorrow. All colors will be present but only up to mid difficulty.
Celiera probably hits a bit harder, but frankly you can use who you like. 3 waters is already a fairly good team
Thats the most stamina efficient way, but its way too time consuming for me at least. Consider doing the raid. Each blazion ticket pull has a chance to be 100 mana. The raid itself is 200 mana at Expert, which is pretty good (Fortune give 300 when no rare mob spawns)
I can only do expert if I'm getting carried by others, my event grinding team so far is this:
I need an emote in game that says "please for the love of god quit attacking that volcano. There are 13 seconds left in this raid and with you over there we don't have the DPS needed to win. That attack probably won't even hit us but it doesn't matter anyway if we're guaranteed to lose without you focusing"
Where that will be? Water Ruins? Why only up to mid difficulty? Just for curiosity, my wind team is terrible anyway, so I'll be able to do that at most.
Yeah, I was wondering if that buff applied to the bonus but for some reason never checked that even though I keep checking stuff about other characters and upgrading and stuff... whoops. I'll even have the orbs to upgrade that buff and get Orsem to the 3rd circle tomorrow, though I'm about to hit a mana wall. Sorta regret earlier upgrading but I didn't spread myself very thin compared to others, it was mainly prepping story characters I still need, and beyond that Jurota and like... Orion, who will still probably get used for light/wind stuff post-raid where I wouldn't want to use Orsem, so that's probably mostly fine!
So I'll try her later and see how the numbers change; looks like if I swap prints (main's event print is a little ahead of the other 3) and dragons she can even get a little higher strength than Elly to begin with so that seems like a solid plan. And then I'll try Orsem once he's in the 3rd circle and I can get some stuff there; his AI seems the most likely to get hurt after Verica so if he actually does the most/comparable he might be the ideal choice anyway, hmm.
I don't... really think any failures so far were distinctly on me though, so thinking through it it's pointless to be concerned at all about the time I spent using Elly, but it's always nice to do more damage, so~!
I have never gotten a 5* that is not a print, though I do have 3 of them.

I've pretty far behind compared to most of the people here, how far do I need to be to realistically get Drill Sergeant-Chan? Honestly only care to get her out of this event.
Getting her is just a matter of using stamina. Her friendship gauge goes up based on the stamina you use with her in your party.
To get her to join you need to play enough to spend 500 stamina total. Raid events counts for double.
