If split screen happens and it's not a struggle then fortnite should start sweating because there are tons of fortnite players with siblings and call of duty is still big with kids and you need kids and teens.
Also need to really give skins of old CoD characters for the older players/nostalgia

Fun fact: the original "Counter" restaurant started on Ocean Park in Santa Monica about a block from Treyarch. Very weird to see these juxtaposed in NYC like this.
14-16 maps is the norm for launch.
Recent CoD's however had a shorter map count. BO3 and IW had 12 and WW2 had 9, plus 3 War mode maps.
WW2 maps got old fast, it felr like it was 5 o 6 maps. It's good to see a good map count again.
The real important thing is how good the maps will be. 14 maps is nice, but worthless if the vast majority are bad.

And not having any SP they better have had 14

I feel like if Infinity Ward followed this exact model next year (no campaign, a battle royale mode with old maps sprinkled in to that map, 14 mp maps on launch and 4 being remakes), we'll be in for a treat two straight years.

Agreed, I liked the maps from the beta, so I felt they were good
Then the 4 returning will be great, just because they already are. Then nuketown, is hard to mess that up
Arsenal looks good from gameplay online. Then there's like 4-5? That we have not played but look interesting from the Twitter posts. I feel like about half the maps or so are already solid, if the rest are as well, we are in for a treat
The beta maps were quite strong. And the returning ones we already know to be quite good. So thats at least half we are confident will be awesome in the rotation.

As for pre load, let's say it happens Tuesday or Wednesday. Have there ever been any chances of them turning the servers earlier, so that those that have it digitally (or physically I guess) might be able to play a few hours early? Lol
That means that when all the DLC is accounted for, the game will have 27 MP maps, 8 Zombies maps and Battle Royale.
Pretty great value proposition honestly.
People with early physical copies will get in without issue once the servers and day one patch go live but digital pre-orders are absolutely not getting in early.

Believe the most recent mention was a Game Informer interview with Vonderhaar after the beta where he said they were still testing it.

If you look closely, you can also see 3 faces (looking at them from the side) on her. 1 on her forehead/nose, and 2 in her neck (one on each side). Kinda looks like Ultimis Richtofen on her head, Primis Richtofen on the left side of her neck and some bald dude (Gersh? Maybe Ultimis Dempsey?) on the right side of her neck. It also looks like one of her eyes is the Moon, while the other one is the Earth as it's being hit by the missiles from Moon.

Zombie leaks? MP is unplayable until the day one patch is released
Not at all hyped but I think I might end up buying this in the end. I liked how the game played in the beta. I don't think Blackout is worth the price of admission but it's a nice addition. Since this feels similar to Black Ops 3 that's a play. I really enjoyed playing that on the PC and it was the last Call of Duty game I bought. So more of that is a good thing and Treyarch has always been my favorite of the CoD developers since the Wii days and Black Ops1. The game being on Battle.net is a huge plus in terms of not having to worry about hackers compared to Steam and I know the popularion will be better over time. All the maps being free is a plus as well.
Just a heads up, people are now getting early copies of the game and although the game's servers aren't up there's still some stuff that you can access. If you want to be kept in the dark now's the time to hide. For those that are looking for info there's a bit of stuff about Zombies:
EDIT: Just noticed that the above poster showed off the MP stuff, I still have a small bit about zombies in my spoiler tags for those interested.
For Zombies it appears that Classified will be taking place before Moon. Kind of expected but there it is.
