We can only hope that FFV will some day get ported to Switch (or at the very least, freakin go on sale :/)

Been trying to think of what the Wii U game could be for a while, and what would be actually worth releasing at this point. Would love to be able to finally get Fatal Frame V and would 100% buy it.
Josh straight up said that it's something not worth releasing at this point, at least not financially. Axiom Verge would make sense since the physical version has continuously been promised by the developer. I would be thrilled about it too since I still haven't bought a physical copy and the Wii U version seems to be the best one out there.

Affordable Space Adventures would be cool too IMO since it's a game that is exclusive to the console and was designed around its features. It's that type of game I want in my collection.

But nowadays Affordable Space Adventures is missing part of what made it special: the Miiverse.
It's either that or no physical release of the game ever. It's just the way it is when you design a game with online features. One day, they will be gone. I don't think the game is ruined by not having the Miiverse connection either.

Good thing we already got that one in Europe then:

I've been thinking about that "something legitimately huge title," and my Hail Mary guess is that Symphony of the Night/Dracula X port. It's coming out digitally October 26th, would be a very big deal, and fits in with the October spooky theme. It might also help drum up hype for Simon/Richtor being in Smash and season 2 of the Netflix series.

Ohhhh good guess! That would be huge working with Konami.

But Castlevania isn't 8-bit... :/

I'd love for Requiem to get a physical release though (but I'm also guessing it's gonna need a patch or two like most games, so if we get one it's best to have it later on).

I think curse of the moon has been pushed to November or is the 8bit title mentioned

I feel it would be switch released also though so I expect November

Castlevania requiem would legit shake up the internet but I can't see them
Pulling it off

I just saw that Layers of Fear for the Switch is $40, why exactly is it $20 more than it's digitally, that's quick the price hike.

Or a forced frisbee.

Some people want the soundtrack. When we don't include one people seem to get mad.

Options are good. Ah I see retailers will have a standard version, that's fine

Or not? One article said a standard version would be available at "select retailers" but I see the LRG email says it is exclusive.

Skipping if LE only.

I'm unsure about which one to grab this week. I have a pretty decently sized horror collection on PS4, but I'd be down to get the larger boxed version with soundtrack for just $10 more.

I feel like PS4 makes more sense as it would sit beside Observer, the other game by the same studio.

Well, if anyone is unhappy with the Switch version...

This release is not published by Limited Run Games and is not a part of our numbered Nintendo Switch collection. It was published by Bloober Team, but we are the worldwide exclusive distributor.

I don't mind the soundtrack being optional like most other special/limited (more limited?) editions. But $10 more forced onto Switch buyers and not offering a option without it seems illogical, especially since the PS4 doesn't include it.

Ah, well that explains that... Don't mind me! :)

The version we did for Switch with Bloober was originally going to retail for $40. The PS4 version was also originally going to be $34.99.

But when the two seemed to coincide we lowered the PS4 price by $5.

How about Cities:Skylines and SINNER for Switch? Any plans at all?

Any word on Golf Story Switch ship date?

Also, preorders for Outlast Switch opens the 26th?

Thanks!

Hmm. Will probably pass if there are two separate SKUs. I love my switch, but I can get the trinity bundle on PS4/Pro for less than $25. Plus... I dunno, I feel like this is a game I'd want to play with high quality visuals if I had the chance, unlike say.... Mega Man 11, which is more about the art style.

Thanks guys.
also on the subject of production stuff, are we supposed to get email about when our games actually come in or are we just supposed to keep constantly checking the page?
I couldn't point you to anything official, but I believe they only notify customers when they are prepping orders and then again when it actually ships. But no they do not send out notices when the games arrive from the suppliers.

yeah I can see that I'll still be getting even if they are released separate.

What are everyone's top five LRG releases?

For me it's:
-Night Trap
-Firewatch
-The Silver Case (PC)
-Observer (on hold still)
-Oddworld: Stranger's Wrath

I was looking through my set as I've been pulling out a few titles to sell off, but damn there's quite a few really quality titles released over the last couple years.

1. Stranger's Wrath
2. Ray Gigant
3. Munch's Oddysee
4. Octodad
5. Windjammers

Plenty of them I haven't actually played yet though!
