Call me crazy but something tells me this is coming to Xbox relatively soon. Possibly Switch as well, but the only reason why it might not get it is because I don't believe it is getting KH3. So Square could be thinking let's not put this on Switch yet as they might start saying, "Thanks, but where's KH3?" I have to believe it'll hit Xbox before KH3 though.

Oh and great deal for any fan who hasn't already picked up the two collections.

All we need is some switch posts and we good to go

I already have 2.8 so I hope this'll result in some good sales on I.5+II.5.

$40 for six games and three movies? That's fucking amazing.

1.5 contains the games before KH2.

2.5 contains 2, the sequel to 2, and the prequel that only makes sense after playing 2.

2.8 is, no joke, because DDD is technically 2.6 and there's a prologue on there that is called 0.2 which makes 2.8.

I guess its because final mix, not the original. They have more content than the counterpart.
KH1 = 1.0
KH2 = 2.0
KH1 final remix = 1.5
KH2 final remix = 2.5

Wow that's good value. Will need to pick this up unless 2.8 gets super cheap once this is released, then I might just get that.

Seriously though it's just 3 bundle of games combined into 1. I forgot the contents in each but this is pretty much all of the games + movies.

You should get it just for the movies, cured my insomia

This one will be ported on switch and xbox I think.

Part of the reason the price is low is probably because this collection is basically just a recompilation of what's already released. It doesn't cost Square much to release this.

-A 3-hour movie retelling the events of the DS game, Kingdom Hearts 358/2

-A PS4 upres of an update to the PSP release of Kingdom Hearts Birth by Sleep
-A 3-hour movie retelling the events of the Phone game, Kingdom Hearts: Coded

-A prologue/preview of Kingdom Hearts 3's tech and gameplay
-An original 1-hour movie

...that's a lot of Kingdom Hearts for 40 clams.

So as somebody who has never played these games, but would like to before the third releases, what the hell is this? Is it everything? What's with the .5's and .8's?

KH 2.9 has been unusable since January 2017.

It's the title of the cutscene that leads right into KH3.

Nah i can't play that much games. I'll just wait until they release the video.

Great value. I think only recently have you been able to get the two collections (I.5+ II.5 & 2.8) for $20 each, so it's a good value.

Might as well just commit and get yourself the All-In-One pack on the PS Store and get KH3 on top of it.

Square might as well just commit and port this pack to Switch and Xbox One.

It's all Kingdom Hearts games ever released except two spin-offs, those feature in this collection as a form of cutscene compilation.

The .5 and .8 were the names of the individual remaster colletions.

Wouldn't it make more sense to make an Xbox version of this, since, you know, those new customers they want to generate never had the chance to play these in the worst case?

It's bundling the 3 HD Collections released. It's the entire series outside of KH3.

I still didn't buy 2.8 Prologue, so this might be worth it. Still didn't replay Birth by Sleep on PS3 and I wanted to replay Dream Drop Distance, because I never finished it (actually didn't like it that much).
Is there also a Europen retail for 40€?

Lol at that price. What is wrong with SE? 40$ for 6 Games and 3 movies is like the best value ever but in the same time they sell a NDS Switch-Port for 50$???

I recomend. 60 fps, final mix and great way to 'try' understand the plot.
My advice are Birth by Sleep. Fun gameplay, minigames and dark plot. Besides is there where everythink starts. KH2 is good to besides that horrible QTE spam and bunch of cutscenes.

It has every console/handheld games. Don't think too much about the.5s and .8s

Welp now I guess I'll just buy this. I have the first HD collection on PS4, but may as well get this for them all.

This may answer it:

According to Nomura, they wouldn't be porting any of the older games to other platforms before the release of Kingdom Hearts 3 so they "wouldn't distract people from KH3's release". I don't see the reasoning here, but well, it seems like that's what they've been doing.

It's odd, but maybe that's the reason why.

Lol and still ignoring the XboxOne. I thought it would change now after that big Final Fantasy blowout.

Not calling it 2.9. Square pls. Also that's a lot of value in one package.
