I like Garry's suggestion that, if they do this, all proceeds go to the former Telltale employees. Could you imagine both this and the press conference thing happening?

This grassroots showcase could be industry changing if they pull it off. A bunch of indies, and perhaps even bigger companies, coming together outside of a major event to make a bunch of announcements is a groundbreaking idea. Given Greg's insane amout of connections and industry friends, this could be something special.
This has to be a mistake, but the next Gamescast is already in my iTunes feed. I currently don't support the Patreon level that gets you the early Friday version (YouTube or MP3). It's typically out on Monday for me. I just checked the Patreon page and its locked for me (both YouTube and MP3), so I shouldn't be seeing the podcast in the Gamescast feed until Monday.
At first I figured it was because of the Assassin's Creed impressions, so they are current instead of being days after everyone else's opinions. However, it's locked on the Patreon website for me. That makes me think it was an accidental upload.
Lmao he did that impression on KFMS once they got back from RTX London. Sounds SO Australian hahah.
I can't believe they didn't mentioned how just within a couple weeks before the Sony crossplay announcement, Sony put out a statement basically saying "we won't play we others because we the best". I was expecting to hear some kind discussion about that on the crossplay announcement episode. There's no way some section of Sony wasn't already working on crossplay before that statement was made, right?
Because Sony CEO made that Statement in an interview and he doesn't run PlayStation. When Kaz took over Sony he always lamented how different parts of Sony don't work together and don't know about each others work. I think Yoshida - the CEO, not Shu - statement just shows that they are still not synergized and aware of each other yet.

I think they said it would be an edited video on one of the shows where they talked about it.
I'm pretty sure Greg described it as basically just a video. Devs/pubs would provide the marketing assets and Kinda Funny would piece them together into a proper composition and then stream it. I imagine there would be some kind of live, in-studio introduction and then it would more or less be a playlist.
This is how I think it's gonna be exactly. And because it's Kinda Funny, I imagine they'll throw in all SORTS of goofy bits in it. :P
The press conference is an amazing idea, but personally, I'm kinda meh on it. It'll most likely be a bunch of indie/smaller announcements with the potential for maybe a DLC announcement or trailer for a sort of big game thrown in. I'll keep my expectations low for it so I'm not disappointed.

One major potential issue of the conference is internet. The streaming quality has been real bad recently with numerous lags and tons of frame drops.
Even when the internet was fine, the morning shows always starts to stutter whenever they play a movie trailer. I get the dumpster truck meme but how is it still this inconsistent?

So Andy said something today on the morning show that bugged me. He snarkily said "People say we only like one kind of movie. So good ones?" Which all the criticism I have seen is "They only like new movies, not old ones."

Kinda Funny is the last place in the world that I would go to find out which movies are "good". Even ignoring their taste in films, their countless Kinda Funny Reacts/Morning Show reviews/In Review episodes just show that literally none of them knows how to critique film. It's one thing to like a "bad" movie or something that has been poorly received, but so many of their criticisms are contradictory, make no sense, or are just based on how cool something looked.
Wednesday was one of the most boring episodes of KFGD that I can recall and it even had Gary.
Edit: Well, that's not exactly true. The unboxing of the C64 was confusing as an audio listener. But, Gary was there, so I am cool w/ it.

Loving the chemistry between everyone. Hoping you guys do more Mario Party Let's Plays/Party Modes in the future because the last one with Tim, Nick, Joey and Andy was GREAT! Nick was especially hilarious, as usual lol. And a special shout-out to the Fuzion Frenzy Party Mode.
I like Jared, he's a nice guy. It seems like he puts a lot of pressure on himself to put on a good show and I appreciate the effort he puts in.

Greg, you probably don't watch these due to time constraints, but on Brandon Jones' weekly show Cup of Jones, he brought up the guests that he'd like to appear on a new show for Easy Allies. He mentioned he'd love to finally be able to meet Gary Whitta and Troy Baker. I'm sure you could make those introductions ;p

Also, I find it funny when people were angry that Greg wasn't on KFMS last week when the rumors about the PSN name change were in the news. It's better when he's there for the real deal!
I've been feeling nostalgic for old IGN podcasts recently... anyone know where you can get old episodes of Beyond? It doesn't look like they're on the iPhone podcast app anymore.
What bugged me the most about the X-men in review today is "X2 has a great story but that's it." THE STORY IS THE MOST IMPORTANT PART.
Finally Watching Amazing Spider-Man 2 tonight. Honestly rewatching all these movies has made me like Homecoming less and less.
The swinging through New York in this is the best it's ever been.
And that is why I'm starting to dislike Homecoming. The web swinging in it sucks. He spends most his time away from New York. I'll listen to the review tomorrow.
Edit: finished. Damn that final Electro fight was really cool. Loved the use of music. Goblin looked dumb though.
