Whew, triple threat today so far... Titans doesn't suck, Aquabro trailer tomorrow, and Ben wants to come back (allegedly).

Here's an important question: Would WB want him back? Would it be worth it to drop him and find someone more reliable?

It's probabaly too late at this point, especially if Reeves has already written his script with a younger man in mind.

I hope he can just revise it though because Ben back on board would be the best outcome.

He's a big name and a lot of people liked him as Batman. Most of those people have no idea of the drama surrounding his personal life. If Reeves gives him a way to be in these movies and not need a huge physical role, it might be easier on him in all aspects. Let the stunt double do all the heavy lifting.

Now that he's back on dat dere celltech, Ben can do the heavy lifting himself

TBH I'm more about Ben coming back as a director (not necessarily DC). Guy has real talent. Live by Night spooked him hard.

BvS, Live by Night, and the divorce was a hell of a combo to take in like 9 months.

He was falling apart way before BvS released. His infamous tattoo was during the filming of Live by Night in 2015.

And even with the reception of BvS and SS (and Accountant), he seemed confident enough to continue with his Batman. Then Live by Night bombed critically and financially; that broke him enough that he stepped down from writing and directing Batman.

I have faith the actual on camera results on Krypton will look better... they did bring us the best live action version of Brainiac so far.

I dont care what it is, its still the shit and easily my favourite comic book action sequence.
Seriously, Snyder the god. It's what you imagine comic book heroes fighting like, beyond human.

Sakuga come to life how fluid it feels.

People are so bitter, the Titans review thread was proof of that. Choose the bad review as the only example and ignore all the good ones. Calling aquaman a joke character too, I mean ant man leads a film now, some criticize when they stray from the comic books and some hate when you stay faithful.

The bitterness is funny to me at this point. They're just movies, but people act like they were personally hurt by them. lol

Anyway, we expecting anything from Shazam this weekend? The movie stole a little of Aquaman's shine at SDCC, so they might wanna fall back this go-round.

Shazam's trailer at SDCC was early, if nothing else. It's releasing in April. Realistically the first trailer shouldn't have been until sometime this month.

So, I feel like another trailer in November or December makes more sense, maybe to play ahead of Fantastic Beasts.

Curious if we'll get a Wonder Woman 1984 teaser this year. Wonder Woman started its marketing early, but I don't think it's necessary for the sequel. The leaked SDCC footage looked dope.

I'm not expecting anything Wonder Woman until around Shazam's release, but I'm happy to be wrong.

The Old(?) Aquaman trailer played in front of Venom so I can now say with full confidence that it is playing in theaters.

I'd love to see Affleck back but I always got a weird vibe from him at press events for DC stuff. Feels like he barely wants to be there. As much as I'd like to see him as Batman atleast one more time, I'd only like him back if he feels happy.

Affleck seems like he needs time away from Hollywood in general. We joke about it, but the culture of the movie business is harsh and definitely not a healthy environment for someone clearly going through a lot. Mans would do well to step away, focus on getting clean, and spending time with loved ones away from all the bullshit. Would rather see another person happy and healthy than a thousand Batman movies.

You know, I was thinking. I'm pretty bummed we won't likely ever see Manganiello's Slade Wilson. Justice League 2 ain't happening and Deathstroke won't appear in The Batman anymore either.

What a shame because they nailed the costume too and found an actor passionate about the character. Maybe WB will throw Joe a bone and put him in Suicide Squad 2 as Deadshot's rival or something.
