I do find it interesting that today they started with a remastered map, when the past three days they started with the new map and ended with the remastered map.
So how much Multiplayer maps will be in Base game free overall?
Black Ops 3 had 13 maps including Nuketown so that number or more would be nice, not gonna buy and support the Black Ops Pass DLC especially when the game also has Microtransactions
Also hope there are extra modes on top too like previous games like Dead Ops Arcade etc

16. Will be free maps throughout the year like WW2. Likely 3 or 4 free drops for events. I'd imagine Christmas, St Pattys, Spring and Summer as before.
Nice thanks. Checked alot of these are remaster maps no wonder i guess to also compensate for no campaign, which i don't mind since the old maps level designs were superior.
Don't know what's going on with map designers nowadays it's very rare for a good new map to be made now just not the level of quality design as before
Nothing since September. The fact they talked about it makes me think it will be there. Hopefully Day 1.
Eh, alot of it is people don't play like before and I think that has a lot to do with how fun a map is. CoD4 I used to think had the best maps. As did MW2. Going back I hate 80% of them, mostly due to how people play them now.
Halo is one of the only series I think that the maps are excellent no matter the players.

In the interview he didn't sound hopeful, from what I could workout from the hidden words is that we're struggling to get it to run at solid frames on base consoles.
But he did say they were trying
It works really well on WW2, it merges them in with regular playlists so if you have DLC1/2/3 etc it just try's to slot you in with others who own those maps... but as always COD are masters at quick matching so you dont even notice the search
He said there in the game somewhere but he doesn't want to talk about it.
He also mentioned something hidden in blackout

Watched the cinematics for the three initial Zombie maps again. The hype is starting to hit me pretty good! Already itching to drop into the zombies in Blackout as well haha.
14 maps, 10 completely new, 4 great remakes, and then Nuketown in November when COD used to release, fine with me.
Has there been any talk about additional black out maps? I actually hope they go the fortnite route and just improve on the one they have. PUBG added more maps and the only one worthwhile to play is the original one in my opinion
To compare the map count to Black Ops 3: Black Ops 4 has more maps (14 vs Black Ops 3's 12), however all of Black Ops 3's map were unique while Black Ops 4 has 10 unique maps and 4 remakes, so overall we're talking 2 more maps but 2 less original maps. Also, Nuketown will be free for everyone once it releases where as Nuk3town in Black Ops 3 was only available as pre-order bonus for almost 5 months.
Nothing yet, for now it sounds like they're going the Fortnite route by just updating the current map.
I would usually hold against such tactics but I'm so damn hyped for Black Out even if it's $60 for it. Was just such a well polished game that felt fantastic.
Same was said about Blackout itself to begin with to be fair. If Treyarch had 0 faith that they could ever get it running Vonderhaar wouldn't have mentioned that they're testing it.
I feel like the synopsis of the map is for sure slightly supposed to be topical.
I definitely want a new multiplayer game to play and the Black Ops series has been my go to when it comes to COD.

And there's 1 more in the launch trailer, not fully revealed but 16 maps right now. Yeah, I don't think there should be any more complains of maps lol. And that's not to say this is all of it
I think people found out that Morocco was that one map. People looked at the overview map and saw that the small section that you see is on that map.

Ahhh maybe 15 then, still that's a great number, and again who knows if there's more. But even if not, we have a good number of maps. Treyarch did not allow people to be concerned for too long lol
Some of the best Black Ops maps coming back is fine by me, besides they feel different enough with each chapter as the movement systems and rules of engagement change.

carentan is still season pass bonus its seperate from winter carentan, on pc a lot didnt even play war mode so ye u can throw those 3 maps in the trash. we did get winter carentan and shipment 1944 later but it did basically launch with 9 maps for core mp.

Debating on getting the digital deluxe vs. standard edition. No bonuses coming with digital deluxe regarding Blackout despite some additional characters though, as it seems?!
They mentioned that they really want to see it happen, but I don't think it will be in for launch? It seems like a big technical hurdle on console.

Digital deluxe comes with the pass, so it will include basically everything that the game will ever have. All the zombies content, the other 12 maps, characters in blackout, cod points etc
