What is your favorite piece of music from the Halo saga?

I hope many of you will agree with me that Halo has one of the best original video game soundtracks ever (NOT porn music) and I would really like to know your favorite pieces.

I can't really decide if I love or more.

The way Halo music transitions from something triumphant to something so soothingly beautiful is truly special imo.

Never Forget. The Halo 4 version is probably my favorite but the Halo 3 one is absolutely amazing as well.



Peril from Halo 2 is probably my second favorite.

For a single track, my heart belongs to On a Pale Horse. I still remember my first Halo session and playing Assault on the Control Room. When this kicked in, I knew I was playing something special.

and I love Under the Cover of Night but I could do without the bass guitar

Marty O'Donnel is anti-abortion which I find pretty shameful, but his music is great. Problematic fave. I should really go back and listen to the other OST's again, I haven't given them nearly as much play time as CE.

I always had a Ps2 and never an xbox so I missed out on halo 1&2. Got a 360 when Halo 3 released (friends pestered me). That "Never Forget" track brings back a lot of fond memories.

I bring this song up pretty much every time Halo music gets brought up, to the point im sure this song annoys at least one of my friends.

Not even posting my personal favorite. Just entering this thread to tell everyone that the music is the most important aspect of the Halo series to me. Marty's music alone elevated Halo to a level I don't believe it ever could have reached without him. The first thing ANYONE thinks of when you ask them about Halo is one of two theme songs.
